I was talking online with a friend earlier today who was bemoaning his financial condition - basically, he's broke. I told him to go have a few "gentleman callers" and make some fast money.

He's open to the idea but has never done it before. He just wants to make some fast money to get him over the hump (so to speak) and then get on with his life.

The problem is, for reasons I can't explain, he can't put pictures of himself on the web so Rentboy is out. I guess Craig's List is in option but gentleman callers still wanna know what the goods look like.

This guy is 25 yo and extremely attractive (but not TOO attractive) - the type of guy you'd be all over at a party and think to yourself: "Perfect boyfriend material". Great lean body with lots of perfect chest hair (which he hates - isn't that always the way?). Versatile to bottom.

What should he do if he doesn't want pics floating around?

What's wrong with legitimate modeling, i.e. for a catalog company?

Unless he has a wide circle of friends who'd recognize his cock and bod pics, tons of guys on M4RN don't post face pics. If he hooks a potential client who asks for a face pic, it's his call - a stark choice - money or anonymity. Hey, no one ever said this Biz was EZ Street. }(

Not sure what city you are talking about,. but many of the guys who work on CL do not use face pictures. Unless he has a defining tattoo or some birthmark on his body, I would think body shots would be enough to begin to establish a clientele. Once his clients get to know him, no other pic would be necessary anyway.

I am SURE he can work off Craig's list if he is in a metropolitan area that Craig's has a list for.

Course it depends on whether he can "work" at that business without making it seem like work to the client. It is an art not everyone is suited to. But if he enjoys pleasing others (strangers)I would think he can do well .

Splash Bar, OW, Cock, Boxers-n-Briefs, etc, are bar/clubs in NYC that hire dancers. It's also a great way for him to meet a potential client.

If this is something he'd be interested in, ask him check out the 20 Club in NYC, 20W 20th St between 5th and 6th Avenues. Only open on Sundays but many Hoovillians attend and we're known to take real good care of the working guys.

I wish your friend the best of luck.

Have a friend take photos of his body (no face) from angles which make it unlikely his friends will reoognize him. A separate head shot with clothes, so clients can see what they need but still not have a photo with face and nude body together. Some guys on CL do not show photos, but they no doubt have fewer responses. If Rentboy is down, how about men4rentnow.com--be sure to give a phone number.
