Circumcision in adulthood?

I recently hired a cut escort who was from a country and religion whose members are usually uncut, so I asked him why he was cut. He did it in his 20s for cosmetic reasons, and told me his orgasms had improved since the circumcision. I've only once before had sex with someone who had circumcision as an adult, and he had a similar experience. I have, of course, in my career as a physician, come across many patients who've had circumcisions as adults, especially since I do a half-day of urology per week. They also have improved orgasms, but this is because they have circumcisions for medical rather than cosmetic reasons (i.e. their foreskin has become a source of discomfort).

The long and the short of it is that I have never in my life run across someone who's had circumcision as an adult and told me that their orgasms are worse since the surgery. Yet those who oppose circumcision generally cite worse orgasms as the main reason not to circumcise infants. Of course, if someone has had circumcision as an infant, there is no way for him to know what his orgasms would have been like had he not been circumcised.

So I guess this forum would be as good a place to ask if anyone here had circumcision in adulthood (preferably after 20). Were your orgasms better or worse after the surgery (or the same)?

I am uncut, but let me make this suggestion. The head is more sensitive when the forskin is intact, at least when the penis is flacid. Becomes less sensitive when erect. BUT when a condum is used, it tends to keep the forskin covering the head, so the circumsized head is probably the more sensitive when a condum is used. If wonder if the patients you have talked to were using condums when they found they had better orgasms when uncut.

ALSO, after circumcizion and the forskin has healed, the head will continue to be very sensitive for a period until the skin on the head thickens. During that period, the head will be very sensitive and the orgams stronger.

I would think most men who go through the ordeal

of a voluntary adult circumcision wanted it and

thus anecdotally are happy (since they sought

it out in the first place). I agree with the

last post and think it would be interesting to

see if these men are still happy later on (like

5-10 years later) and to find out if they have

lost a lot of sensitivity.

Recently I saw a Program on Turkey and its Customs. They don't Circumsize til between 4 and 14! Now that's just Not Right!

To make this decision as an ADULT is one thing. I knew a Guy I grew up with, who had it done at 18! Very Uncomfortable and Painful!

Local Anesthetic Provided..Big Deal this Custom is Wack! IMHO ;-)

I'm with you, zip.....

admittedly, I'm a good ol' WASP-y all-American....cut because that's just the way things were done back in the early 60s....to me, it just looks cleaner and neater....

I know things are swinging today way toward "anti-mutilation" and all that, but uncut still just looks like something you see in Nat'l Geographic....plus they talk about smegma and being kinda dirty down there....jeez

yeah, exaggerating a little for effect, but I way prefer cut......

I don't think it's fair to include my patients, since most are probably unable to have sex before the circumcision due to disease of the foreskin. In their case, things can only get better (because of our funding sources, we never do cosmetic circumcisions). My BF keeps his uncut--and he's very attached to his foreskin. He keeps it very clean, and his head sticks out a bit even in the flaccid state. He also believes circumcision could decrease sensitivity--but has no evidence to back up his belief.

I'm the opposite. I prefer uncut or semi-cut guys.

I just hired a really cute escort outside of the USA

who's foreskin covered his entire penis, even when

hard and it had a nice teardrop shaped opening at

the tip. What he had was beautiful but rare to

find in the states since most parents often get

pressured to "fix" this type of foreskin which

is viewed as a type of pediatric medical issue

by many American doctors. Same goes for longer

foreskins. Parents still get pressured to fix

these "problems" by US doctors who don't know

any better.

As far as hygeine goes, this escort was perfect.

I think if someone doesn't wash any body part

including a cut or uncut cock as well as teeth,

ears, underarms, ass, etc. it's a big turn-off

to me.

I guess foreskin is just my preference. There

is nothing wrong with being cut and preferring

that in other guys.

I am uncut and perhaps prefer uncut.

My partner is one of those who had circumcision at an adult age, when he was 38, for medical condition.

He feels his orgasm and general feeling is better now, but most probably because before his erection was a bit painful because of his condition.

As a very smart poster said, good hygiene is something either you have or not.

If you wash your ass before sex, you should wash your dick too, even more if you are uncut.

Anyway, a nice cock is a nice cock, cut or uncut!

Unicorn, every uncut guy knows that he is more sensitive for this reason: Cut guys can wear clothing without discomfort. But, if an uncut guy pulls back his forskin and wears clothing, it is painful or at least very uncomfortable. The head of the uncut penis is almost as sensitive as the eyeball. Even washing it with the fingers and soap is somewhat uncomfortable. It is less sensitive when erect, but still too sensitive for clothing. Ask your BF. Also, the next time you meet someone who was cut while an adult, please ask him how long it was uncomforable to wear clothing, even after the cut had healed. I actually would like to know the answer to that.
