Probably not what you're thinking of, but there's a new kick-ass recording of the Berlioz "Symphonie Fantastique" with the L.A. Phil conducted by incoming music director Gustavo Dudamel. It's Grammy-nominated, even.

 

If this performance is any indication, we're going to like having Dudamel here A LOT. The Solti sound is back, and we have it in Los Angeles.
