+ StLouisOct
I recently mentioned to an escort that a few years ago I had a sphincterotomy. https://www.healthline.com/health/sphincterotomy#procedure He’d never heard of such a thing and was fascinated to hear about it. I thought some of my Forum colleagues would be interested in hearing more. For decades, I suffered from anal fissures – tiny tears in the sphincter - that occurred several times each year from just ordinary bowel movements. At one point it started taking longer for them to heal. My doctor recommended that I see a colon/rectal surgeon. That surgeon commented that I had an awfully tight anus (no kidding! 🤣). Guys I’ve known thought this would be a fine attribute if I was a bottom, but the tightness made that impossible. Frankly, because of my life-long affliction, I always wondered how anal intercourse was possible for so many. The surgery was a simple procedure and everything healed up in a week or so, with relatively little discomfort. Now I know how and why guys bottom! So, my friends, there you have it. Bottoms out there – or those who might like to bottom – might want to discuss this possibility with their doctors if you have recurring anal fissure problems. + sync, + robear and jeezifonly

Thank you for sharing; this was very nobel and brave of you to do so. I'm a bottom myself (100%), I've only bottomed twice so far (I'm in my 40's and I started late) but this is something I will keep bookmarked, very interesting. My first was fairly average sized and I felt great. My second experience, he was quite endowed (easy 7" and very thick), I'm happy he went very slow and I listened to my body but it did eventually get hot and heavy and I enjoyed every minute. But to be honest, I think I'm still "healing". I'm not in pain at all, it's been about a week now but I still feel as if he "just finished with me". (I don't know if I'm making sense) I'm totally fine, and I'll probably wait a while before I try to bottom someone like him again. At any rate, this is excellent information, thank you so much. jeezifonly

Had this exact same surgery. think the full name of it was a "lateral internal sphincterotomy" or something. am more of a bottom myself and had years of anal fissures and bleeding. Super tight myself haha. But had the surgery and haven't really had much in the way of issues since. That was like 15 years ago. I am now 38. So i totally feel you on this. haha. + Unicorn
An ointment mixture of 1 part nitroglycerin gel to 9 parts of Vaseline is helpful for anal fissures. lonely_john
Guest
Without the sexual connection, I struggled with anal fissures for twenty of the last thirty years…until I went gluten free. Not a single problem since.
Zippo5
Having my surgery this month (hopefully), and now sort of looking forward to the potential side effects!
Mjonis
The term itself just generates horrible mental images, I imagine it hurts very much too. But sounds like the surgery can fix/repair things quite nicely. Hope all goes well for you Zippo5
