"Sneakers"

I've seen a lot of escort ads (particularly on Rentboy) which list "SNEAKERS" as one of the escort's "tastes, specialties, fetishes." I strongly assume that this does not refer to an eastcoast escort's tennis shoes, but my escortese is so woefully deficient that I have no idea what "SNEAKERS" refers to. Someone explain (graphically, if necessary) please.

I don't know in this case what sneakers might be either but I am willing to speculate that if various folks are willing to sniff previously worn underwear there are some others who might like to sniff well work sneakers or running shoes or tennis shoes, named for whatever generation from which you might be a current escapee.

Perhaps both a little help and a little humor here. I was overhearing my escort roomie's convo with a new client and I picked up on his remark that he had several pairs of tennis shoes which hadn't been washed for several months, and yes, he had several pairs of sweat socks which hadn't been laundered for over a week, and yes, he'd be willing to go for a few days without showering, yada yadda. I stepped away into the john to pee and when I returned he was done talking to the new client. I asked him how he thought things would go, and he looked at me and said, "Well, I have everything he needs but I don't know if I can fart on command."

Not sure if this was a joke or for real; am I the only one that got half hard reading it? Of course after leaving out the "fart" part of the fantasy.
