Actually, the article that I read indicated that posing nude wasn't the problem. They allowed their "likeness" to be used for commercial gain. I don't think the NCAA could no anything if the site hadn't charged for viewing.

 

A more specific quote is that they "...were declared ineligible because they violated an NCAA rule that prohibits athletes from receiving compensation for the use of their images by anyone seeking commercial gain."

I was just going by the headline on the AP story ... I hadn't read the whole thing ... but it wouldn't have been the first time a headline and a news story didn't match!

I always understood in the Original Olympic Games most atheletes were nude. These guys should appeal and say they were posing in the interests of the Original Olympic Spirit.
