Music Downloading/File Sharing Sites??

Can anyone share links to some sites which are good for free downloading and/or file-sharing music? I occasionally get a bug to hear long-lost artists (Jerry Lee Lewis is one of my all time faves). Tonight it's Django Rinehart. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. }(

DO NOT download LimeWire unless you are a total fucking idiot. It attaches bots to your hard drive and does NOT give you ANY direction about how to use it "Properly," if that is even possible. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I use Limewire semi-daily with no problems. I am not saying it's the best as I have only used Napster (in the old days), WinMX and now Limewire. I will have to try the others that people mention here. However, Limewire works nicely for me and I am a computer-security freak.

 

I run Spybot, AVG Anti-Virus, and ZoneAlarm Firewall and I have no issues. The key is no matter what protection software you use (or combination of many) they need to be up to date all the time.

 

In addition, I run CCleaner before I start to use my computer for the day and I run it before I shut-down for the day.
