I hope everyone gets to see the new Russell T Davies story about gay London in the 1980s, “It’s A Sin”. It streams in the US today on HBO Max.

I watched it with my younger partner and had to explain some things to him, but we both loved it. I found the dialogue strange at times but it was very compelling. The acting is of a high order, and especially in the last episode it is strikingly truthful.

FWIW I’d recommend not bingeing on it; we watched an episode each evening.
