I didn't know it ever really closed. Last I heard it was taken over by new management and renamed 'Digits'. (And, in the process, completely lost the little mojo it had left.) It would be great to see it restored it to its former status, but from my understanding that would take some doing. The sex scene in LA is so dead!

Digits went out of business back in February due to bad management. As I understand it the reincarnation is under new management.

I have been there about 10 days ago on Saturday and it was hopping but not too much hustler activity. It was very upscale and cool

Went to Numbers tonight. First the BAD: got there at 7:30, had a reservation, we stood by the the hostess desk for 10 mins, no one came to help, although a rather feminine DJ was standing there looking thru CD's the whole time but never offered to help. One of the bartenders finally came over and looked past us to the 4 guys in line behind us and said "do you guys have a reservation?" they said "these guys are ahead of us!" and he looks at us like he had no idea we were there. I should say at this point the place was 3/4 empty and the 4 waiters, the women manager and the bartenders were all talking at one end of the bar! He then takes us to one table and as we start to sit, says "oh wait, go to the next table", all the 6 tables for two were empty! We sat for 10 mins. before a waiter finally came up and gave us menu! Again at this point the place was still less then a 1/4 full. The women manager IMHO is worthless! She never walked to the front of the restaurant, or took over the hostess job, stayed at the far end of the bar, never greeted any of the customers and spent most of her time, giving free food to the other tables that were complaining about the slow service!

Now the GOOD: If you like Twinks the waiters and bartenders will make you happy! Our waiter as well the the other one working our area both cute with a lot of personality and really made you feel welcome as well as apologizing for the wait and the fact they had no hostess. At 10:00pm the shirts come off the waiters and bartenders!

there is now a stripper pole at one end and the waiters become the strippers after the dinner service. By 9:00 it was full and the bar area had no openings. The outdoor area is changed with large cushioned sofas/chairs. The patrons were a mix of ages with the 30 - 45 age range predominating. I saw 3 or 4 working guys, all appeared to be about mid 20's.

When you say that the waiters became strippers (and took advantage of the pole in the dining room), do they take off more than just their shirts? Dying to know!

Glutes, not knowing your type, but I would say two were probably most guys types! I am hopeful that Numbers may get some of their old glory back. As everyone knows, the internet more then city ordinances spelled the death of hustler bars, but in the few places like Weho were probably 75% of the guys advertising on Rentboy live, I can see them not seeing anything popping up on their computers, taking a walk down to numbers and seeing it they might pick up some business. It's a comfortable more upscale atmosphere then exits at the other bars where guys of mixed ages can feel comfortable. The waiter did tell us that they will be remoulding the booths again, they had just done them when they opened last month. Seems they made the backs of the booths with a 6" thick quilted type material and some of the larger customers can't fit around the table! so they are thinning the booths to make them more accessible. lol

The waiters do remove their pants and are in their underwear when dancing. Twinks are not my type but two were very cute and alot of personality, and I would have hauled one home if I could. Since Numbers is doing alot of advertising and many don't know about the re opening yet, I am hopeful it may end up bringing some of the fun back to Weho, which since the fire at Mickeys has gotten boring.
