These Violent Delights

A debut novel by Micah Nemerever titled These Violent Delights has held my attention these past two days. I wonder if anyone else here is reading it, or plans to. It's a gay love story with a twist of violence that is unsettling. The dynamics of the relationship are quite intriguing Paul and Julian are the main characters, and at times it seems that they want to destroy each other with their "love." The novel is intelligently written. I'd like to know what other(s) think.

I note that in the NY Times today there is another book reviewed of the same title. That one is by Chloe Gong, and not gay related.
