A Thug Amongst Us

I was struck with great shock when I read a email received from a man who has claimed to be a "long time poster" and a "well respected poster" this past Thursday.

 

The email, from NCM, was apparently trying to threaten, intimidate and or shame me. His lack of respect for other points of view is appalling.

 

I wonder how many others have received like emails from NCM; my instinct tells me there have been quite a few.

 

I've decided to share the unrestricted email from NCM with this group. It is my hope that this will give others some balance about the man behind the handle NCM.

Even though you have only 69 posts I feel you have been around the board enough to know that sometimes people get a little heated on here. I have seen far worse comments on this board. In fact I would call this a bit tepid.

 

I think I might have taken the tack for NCM as follows "My isn't the kettle calling the pot black." NCM is known to be quite the promoter of escorts himself.

 

So NCM is far from thug material, a few others on here have certainly staddled that line of going too far but NCM is strong in his views as you appear to be in yours and nothing wrong with that.

 

If you want thug material you might want to check out some of the BN commentary of a year+ ago or some of the infamous Tom Isern and rockhard stuff. Rockhard did cross that line. Those were personal.

But let us not forget that this was only posted to this board after Ryan decided to do so, presumably so we could all see what a terrible "Thug was Amongst Us"

 

The original post - which was not threatening regardless of what Ryan claims - was a personal e-mail to Ryan.

Guys I can understand that several of you are friends with NCM. That you're interest in posting to this thread is not objective.

 

However, I do find it intriguing that the email he sent is completely overlooked and the only comment is on my use of the word "thug." NCM, in my book is a cyber thug.

 

The man was attempting to threaten, harass, intimidate me, which he would never be able to do. Sure it was subtle but anyone who goes out of there was to send such a email after his motives were properly question in another post here has some serious mental health issues from my experience.

 

I have no horse to pick, I don't represent any escort nor do I have an interest in doing so as NCM clearly does and has. Though I did feel bad for others for have felt NCM's strong arm tactics and others who might have left this forum due to his childish antics.

 

The email to me was no more personal than the emails he or many others post in these forums. There was no request to keep said email confidential therefore I have decided to share it to give balance to the man who uses the handle NCM.

 

With this post I believe I've expressed my feelings entirely and find no need to comment further.

It really isn't terribly complicated. If you want to make a friend, you say something nice about him/(her)?. If you don't care if you make an enemy, make as many savage remarks as you can.

But he was perfectly justified in taking offense and calling you on it. You are the one that resorted to the childish behavior by sending the email and name calling in the first place. From my observation, you seem to do the same thing whenever someone dares to disagree with you. Sort of proves that your apology of nine days ago was more than a tad insincere.

 

It is possible for adults to disagree with one another without resorting to childish behavior.

It's truly amazing what some people here have to do with their time.

 

I have just returned from a Memorial Day Weekend party, and I am attending another tomorrow morning for brunch. After that I am helping to staff my local food shelf. That's my world right now, and I send all of you the same Memorial Day well-wishes.

 

If some of you have too much time on your hands, perhaps you could find a volunteer shelter that could use your services. I don't mean to sound overly patriotic, but my focus this weekend is on honoring our veterans. I salute those of you who engage in similar activities. For the others who choose to engage in hateful diatribe, well ...

My personal view on your note: if you had left 'threaten' out of your original post, I concur 100%. People that resort to name calling usually have no valid argument - thus they shift to intimidation. I'm not a total innocent, I have resorted to name calling a few times on on the MC but I usually am able to catch myself before I hit post.
