Common cold and the flu

Prior to covid, providers and clients were always at risk for catching the common cold and influenza. In light of covid precautions, I'm sure many clients and escorts have been cautious. Since the common cold and influenza are also respiratory droplet transmitted infections, I was wondering if anyone ever got infected from these encounters. With influenza, one can mitigate the risk somewhat by getting a influenza shot, which I yearly do but with the common cold I've never tried any preventative measures. The worse thing I've gotten was a bad case of diarrhea from a bad chosen provider. And since I still play safe even in this age of PReP and HAART I've never had and STI.

My trainer and I used to pass colds back and forth pretty regularly pre-COVID, but I have never, as far as I recall, caught so much as a case of the sniffles from a provider.
