The Roster of the Dead

Today's New York Times shows four full pages of pictures of soldiers who died in Irag, along with many emails and journals they wrote. It's a very moving thing to see the huge numbers of photos and know that each individual is dead...their smiles never to be seen again.

 

I know this will end up in the Politics forum, but it seems to me that even here in Hooville it is appropriate to stop for a moment and remember these dead soldiers. Why we can't do that in the most popular forum escapes me, so I can only hope that I am wrong.
