Abercrombie & Fitch Photos Seized

According to the Virgina Post:

 

Police, saying they were responding to citizen complaints, carted away two large promotional photographs from the Abercrombie & Fitch store in Lynnhaven Mall on Saturday and cited the manager on obscenity charges... One depicts three shirtless young men from the back, walking through a field. The man in the lead appears to be about to pull up his jeans, which have slipped down enough to reveal his upper buttocks.

So, should pix like this be displayed in a mall where there are kids? Is this any worse than what they display at Victoria's Secret?

 

I'm all for free speech and love the A&F catalog. But is it appropriate for public display?

I really don't care for A&F and don't care for their picture ads but over all I don't find this picture tasteless or not for the eyes of the young. Sounds like some old bitties have way too much time on their hands.

What I found distressing about the picture is that they didn't show more butt!

So, what's on the opposite end of the cute butt guy in the pix? Is that an RG (real girl) romping with them? x( That would ruin my fantasy.

MadTV did a series of skits a few years back that picks up that homoerotic theme. Here's a youtube link that really pokes fun at A&F that's so on target. :-)

What in the world is the fuss all about? It's certainly not pornographic but obviously pornographic in the eyes of the beholders that allegedly complained. Hopefully the judge will have the good sense to throw this thing out of court. If all these young men looked like Senator McCain running for the Presidency when half nude it would be considered a campaign ad. I consider the young men a treat for the eyes.

I find news like this quite depressing as well as downright scary.

 

How homophobic the general population must be to cause a rucus over something so harmless and how stupid the law must be to go along with the complaint.

 

I hope the A&F lawyers jump all over this like rabid dogs.
