I wonder if guys remember Jonathan Agassi, an Israeli gay male porn performer and escort, who started work in the first decade of this millennium.

 

His story is pretty usual for a porn performer - drugs, depression and easy money - but he survived and is a Tel Aviv supermarket worker now. His life is described in this article

It's the same tale, told over and over again. At least Sweet Charity dressed it up with songs.

It is the same tale regardless if one works in the sex industry since I would include myself as a former meth addict. Will never see the end of it since humans have the same mental issues generation to generation.

I give Jonathan credit for being open about how the documentary project woke him up and caused him to turn his life around. Overcoming an addiction is difficult, and too many among us suffer from addiction(s).
