Lucky Liked A Romance Novel?

Yes, well, this one is a fun soap opera, along the lines of the Front Runner, and also written by a woman. It's the first novel about a gay marriage, and it is a good read, or so I thought.

It is written by Suzanne Brockman, who has written more than 40 books and been awarded Romance Writer of the Year three years running now.

 

So, when she decided to write a gay romance, she did it well, given that her son is gay and that she has long been an advocate of gay marriage. All profits from the book go to MassEquality, an organization dedicated to preserving gay marriage in Massachusetts.

 

The characters are an FBI agent and a televison actor, both impossibly handsome, and throughout the book involved in emotionally wrenching subplots. But, it is a romance novel. These characters have appeared in some of her previous novels, but this is her first all-out hero and hero story. If you've read this far, I've saved the title for last, only wanting those serious about their romance novels to know: It's called All Through The Night and arrives just in time for Christmas!
