you've probably heard the 80/20 rule for business (80% of your business will come from 20% of your clients). It's been somewhere close to that for me, and I'm quite happy for it. There's a satisfaction that comes from a recurring relationship, and it's awesome to be able to count on the steady income. I'm sure some escorts have other experiences though.

Well before 2 months ago it was 100 percent from regulars as I took a year off rentmen :p

but i definitely agree with the 80/20 rule. Majority of the income i make a month is from regulars. But some regulars can drop off for a multitude of reasons so its always good to sprinkle a couple new faces each month. That new person you see this month may turn out to be your next regular and join you on your journey for the next couple years :D

I feel the same way about providers. I just added a young man who’s a bit effeminate but over-the-top passionate. The deep kissing and roaming hands alone is worth the session!

@Kevin Slater Thanks for sharing your data. As a numbers nerd, so interesting. Given the huge portion that comes from your top 3, if you’re willing to share, how often are you seeing those guys? Weekly? More than 1x a week ?

Often more than once a week. Keep in mind it's not just number of meetings, but payment per.

So I assume a provider who does not cultivate regulars would find the going a little tough if he is depending mostly on new business?

Tough to say. Is escorting his full time job? Is he in demand? What's his market like?

I'm sure there are guys who are successful with few regulars, and plenty of providers who do cultivate regulars still find the going tough.

Sorry, I've gone and answered your question with more questions.

At the end of the day I just can't really think of a downside to having regulars, even if you're actively looking for new clients as well. The two are by no means mutually exclusive.

I just looked and yeah, 80% of lifetime revenue came from 16% of my clients. But what's more interesting is that 50% of lifetime revenue comes from just .7% of my clients.

Unless someone decides to escort just short term (or is really just looking to make a quick buck by overpromising and underdelivering), I've never understood the otherwise above average guys I've met who just seem to lack any ability to engage on a personal level. I'm not necessarily talking about doing things off the clock but rather just being engaged as a normal human being would if the situation was non-sexual. I'm sure there are a multitude of reasons why an escort would choose to come across as distant (or maybe he's just that way 24/7), but there's a reason why a very small percentage of the guys I hired were hired more than once and an even smaller number of guys were hired more than five times. If it's just mechanical, then I might as well roll the dice and choose someone new every time.

  • 2 weeks later...

I was wondering about the regular questions. My first hire was about a year ago and was for a weekend. Even though the weekend did not go as I expected I still offered to pay half of his rent per month. (New York) And bought him a pair of hiking boots. But still the service did not improve to any great degree. I feel I was used but what I can tell this is his MO. But if I were a provider and a client was willing to help support me I think I would bend over backwards to be sure everything was done well. (no pun) I really wanted to become a regular to avoid meeting someone new but I have my limits and I am not going to pay someone to be insulted and I have not hired anyone since.

The appointment went South, yet you still paid his rent and bought him gifts.

At any point in all of this, didn't a little voice in your head say

You cannot bribe your way into a great session from an escort: Learn this with future hires. Also, do your homework, find a guy with a string of good reviews and attempt to get a better feel for who you're going to see.

I'm sorry this ended up badly, but consider it a learning experience and not the final nail in the coffin.

Seems roughly consistent with income and wealth distributions and a typical distribution for a luxury brand. Great job building a successful business.

[First of all there no bribe. An amount was quoted and paid. Secondly the purchase was made early in the weekend. Thirdly, the offer to pay rent was made before I got my head screwed on right but rent was never paid. I have, however, considered this a learning experience of the highest order. I suppose the whole thing was due to my inexperience with providers. Inexperience is understandable.

A lot of guys see an ad and think only about the look, but not about a guy's entire ability to offer him what he really wants/needs. That's where this is the learning experience: Use it when you consider your next hire.

Find a guy you like, but also an escort who's got a solid track record.

Thanks. I guess I got hold of a bad apple. I fail to see how he continues in the business, based on my experience, let alone after the bloom has left the rose. he is in his early thirties. Should have just a new more years left in the business with nothing to fall back on. Sad in a way.
