I saw the musical on stage with Tammy Grimes, who was wonderful.

I saw Debbie Reynolds perform this live in 1989 in the outdoor Muney Theatre in St. Louis, MO. She was fantastic in any version of this role!

He was very, very good. I have never seen the film. I did see Debbie Reynolds in the audience for Liza in "Minnelli on Minnelli." Debbie stayed for a while too after the show ended.

Initially, I thought Debbie was sitting beside Elizabeth Taylor, but it was a woman who looked like Taylor.

When Tab Hunter Confidential screened at the DGA theater during Outfest, there was hope that Debbie Reynolds would show up since she was in the movie. Tab Hunter was on stage after the screening. Alas, her schedule did not allow attending, although I saw Connie Stevens and Joyce DeWitt there, and heard that Carol Burnett also attended. Would have been awesome to see Debbie Reynolds. Sadly she is gone as well as Tab Hunter.
