Daddy doesn't do handles; That's been the policy since the Hooboy era.

So please enlighten me (I ask strictly out of curiosity) how does a person obtain an official "stage name" as it seems to be called? Certainly one does not register at one's local DMV, does one? Much obliged.

They make one up or somebody makes one up for them. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stage_name

I suspect that "Rick M" isn't the name on your birth certificate however is a reasonable stage name.

That's him, but I found out today that because he hasn't paid his dues to the Escort Union or some such technicality, my review for him can't be posted. Shame.

To which site did you post a review? Rentmen? Daddy's? If the former, I don't know their policies for posting reviews. If the latter, reviews tend to take a while to post, especially first reviews because of Daddy's process of vetting the review. If you are a first time reviewer, there may be an extra step in the vetting process. The first review I posted was back in the hooboy days, and I was contacted by the site to verify the review. Since then, any review I've posted didn't involve contact to me from the site. That may be a change under Daddy, or it may be because I had previously submitted a review.

I think Rick M submitted a review, but since the only name FutureMedDoc goes by is FutureMedDoc (a handle), rather than by an actual name (his real name or otherwise), Daddy won't post the review.

If that’s true then that logic is silly and defeats the purpose of discretion in this business.

It's Tradition!

Why did my review show up under another name?

Reviews submitted with only an escort's "Handle" instead ofa stage name will not be published. The reason is those things change more often than we or the consumer can keep up. If they are an AOL person, it is even more pronounced. We know escorts do not use their real name. When they are selecting a stage name, they should also pick a last name. That will avoid having a number after their name (ie: Chirs #1, Chris #2, Chris #3.) And it will be better in establishing an identity that we can remember.
