Are there traveling massage/providers who actually carry a table?

I ask this because every once in awhile, I’ll have someone contact me on RentMasseur when I’m visiting and ask if I have table.

 

I always let them know that it would be cumbersome to carry around a table when traveling, specifically if a provider is “on tour”, meaning going to several areas within a week or month. Would it appear less discrete to walk thru a hotel with a big folded massage table? How would that fit in the overhand bin/checked baggage on a plane

 

I don’t have any pics in my ad with a table, and I used to carry a table, but I’ve let it go because I don’t feel they’re very comfortable to use (some of my techniques involve being on top/straddling someone...and I’m always concerned that 2 people on a massage table could fall/break), then the set up, and the space it takes. Plus I’m not a high volume masseur (no hating on those who do), and I mainly use RentMasseur to reach out to those who are more or less “testing” the waters, not because I want to open up the next Massage Envy.

 

Unless there’s now some extremely portable massage table that can easily be moved from place to place, I just don’t see how someone would expect a traveling provider to carry a massage table around. Even traveling by car, space is limited for a table unless you’ve got a bigger suv.

I have had at least 5-6 therapists who did not live in my city bring their massage table to my apartment to provide me with 90 minutes of expert service. Each guy was terrific and very talented. I have fun memories of them all. I think only 1 was gay, but none of them worked in the nude or provided any type of sex. Each guy had his own way of dealing with my erection.

 

They also had unique methods of transport. One guy used a custom shoulder harness. One guy had a collapsable dolly. I was always fascinated by the differing methods used. I live in an elevator building so getting up to me was never an issue.

 

In those days, I never requested a table. Those guys wouldn't work any other way. I respected their preference and re-arranged my small apartment to accommodate their table. It always worked out great. I have different furniture now so I can't accommodate a visitor. But I'm always open to trying new guys, and I only book with someone who has a table. I can no longer do the floor or mattress. My body is too crippled.

I much prefer a table for comfort if you are really going after true massage- my head is always uncomfortable and its harder to breathe when getting massaged on a bed or floor, so i'd look for a guy with a table. Also, and it may just be me, I've always thought that those that offered massages without a table was not really offering a true massage- wink wink......but that could just be my thoughts.....

On at least 2 occasions when I was visiting another city, I’ve had sessions with masseurs who also were visiting and were traveling with their table. They essentially turned their hotel room into a cozy massage space. Granted, they were visiting those cities for at least 4-5 days, and I’m pretty sure they were within driving distance of their respective homes, so it wasn’t as though they’d had to schlep their table onto a plane.

When a masseur is traveling and staying in one place for several days, they can rent a massage table and only have to take it in and out once.

I have Two massage Table..... one in my massage room and other in my SUV ready to go just in case for out calls.. Always 90% of time out calls don't use table rather on there beds....

I have had MANY traveling masseurs bring a table. They score BIG points with me and I know it will generally be a good (and legit) massage
