Today I had a two hour meeting that has been confirmed for about a week with constant communication not even show up. I am now changing my business if you want to book a EC type of service I require a deposit. I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause some but I am done having people waste my time.

 

I get it; in the heat of the moment and constant urge for instance gratification clients book and have intentions to show up. Then the idea of hiring someone disappears and decide not to be man enough to cancel.

Now if you want to escort, indentifying red flags is important. From what you have stated, constant communication after the appointment was set was the red flag. If it's a week out, there should only be a short back and forth about 2 days out, and then the day of when it should be the period of getting ready and travel time.

Semi-redflag #2: Actively asking if I am in Boston currently. My location is marked as in Las Vegas and my travel locations are clearly layed out and labeled, which means he didn't take any time to read anything about my ad.

Yet does not take anytime to read anything about my ad and proceeds to ask me questions that are answered in my ad copy (top or bottom)(contradicts wanting to meet someone but no desire to learn anything about them) in addition to when I am available.

 

Semi-redflag #4 : When he asked what time works for me, this was after I had asked him first if he has any idea what his availability would look like on that day. If he doesn't know yet he could have said so, but to counter a question with a question asking them same thing is never a good sign.

 

Semi-redflag #5: Asking to share more pics, when I have pics on my ad. If he is concerned with them being real, he could say so, but to ask for more without voicing that concern is never a good sign.

He then says to say it doesn't say anything about a certain question (safe/bb), to which I reply it is in the rentmen provided description, as well as the answers to his questions are in my ad, as well as my website that is in the headline. During this back and forth we set a date and time.

But I am 20% confident he will come through. I am still going to keep that time open for him. I usually keep at least 2 hours between the end of one appointment and the start of the next, so because of my lack of assurance he will come through, I would probably shorten that window for other appointments if need be. And if he doesn't show like I expect, it's something I am mentally prepared for.

@MrMattBig, I admit I’m guilty of asking for information that is already on the ad. Unlike your ad, there are many others which provide very little or ambiguous information hence the need for a back and forth between the providers and the clients. I have suggested that providers draft an FAQ text message that can be sent when clients begin asking questions.

 

The FAQ in your website gives clear answers. If I were in your area and I wanted to book with you, I’m sure the text exchange will be very short.

Great examples.

They all go to a client 1) already having a plan to meet rather than casual interest in someone, and, 2) understanding what is in the profile to see if it matches his interests... again back to being serious about meeting.

 

I sometimes wonder what would happen if all photos were removed from profiles and companions had to write thorough profiles and clients had to read them. I think people see a picture and go “Oh... that’s hot. I want him” but fail to connect the dots in making a plan to meet.
