Just wanted your opinion on a recent encounter I had while traveling in England.

He only charged 150£, which even with the weaker dollar is only about $185, a great bargain compared to virtually any escort here in the states. And overall, we did have a decent time. Let it go and think ahead. If there’s even a chance you might want to top a versatile escort, let him know ahead of time.

He should have been ready to go. My suspicion is he prefers to not bottom for clients and wanted to use that as an excuse to persuade you not to top him. Sounds unprofessional to not be prepped.

To my understanding, prostitution is legal in UK, so why are you using that line of thought?

Surely enough, rates can still be measured with time, but "only for the escort's time" sounds quite oversimplified, if not even out of place to me here. Or, am I missing something there?

My take is he became overzealous; you expressed a wish, then an obstacle came up, so you ate the wish back. At this point, to an external observer it becomes quite tricky to determine what you would truly prefer, even if you speak it out explicitly, because you wouldn't have changed your mind in the first place, if the obstacle weren't there. For the provider to just let it go, would have meant finally leaving a request unsatisfied.

It is late and I am tired, so not sure who suggested you top the guy. If he suggested it, then he should have extended the time by 15 minutes. If you suggested it after telling him you are a bottom, then I think the 15 minutes is on you, i.e. is part of the appointment.

Yes...I didn't want any of the money back just an additional 15 minutes of his time. We did go over an hour a little bit. Probably less than five minutes over an hour, which is actually pretty common for any non-clock watcher anyway. And I did end up fucking him and he did seem to enjoy it so maybe he actually really wanted to bottom and that was why he was eager to get clean.

 

Part of the issue I think is communication. When I contacted the escort, we went over the whole "What do you like to do?" conversation. I did say I was vers and liked lots of body contact, kissing and oral. So in my opinion, that leaves open me topping him. The obvious question and answer is missing but who initiated the end of the session? It sounds like he wouldn’t have an issue with the situation if you ended it 15 minutes over but instead you ended it just 5 minutes over. Can’t say it enough, but open communication means you have to actually communicate your thoughts and feelings to us. Our mind-reading abilities are fairly limited and when we see you getting dressed or cleaned up, that is generally our cue that the appointment is wrapping up and to be on our way, even if we are under time.

 

Yeah he definitely did not offer any additional time and as I said in my original post I kinda shied away from asking for it because the rate was already pretty good compared to American rates and the escort's English was somewhat limited and wasn't sure I'd be able to communicate that well to him. I am curious - did you give him an indication of your preferred position? Had you indicated that you wish to bottom there would be no need for him to do a deep clean. So you changed the agreed meeting parameters, in other words. Had you indicated that you are verse or top he certainly should have been ready...

 

To your question, as a customer, I would let it go.

If you had such a great time with him you should definitively review him and next time you hire make sure to tell the guy "I want to flip", that's more clear than a percentage of probabilities about you being top or not.
