Apparently the Food Network's Rachael Ray (and I love this bitch - like Lucy and Tammy Faye Baker in years gone by, if you're channel surfing and she pops up it's IMPOSSIBLE to go further....) has signed a mega-money multi-year deal to "upmarket" Dunkin' Donuts. Funnier than that concept by itself is Gallery of the Absurd's webpage illustrations on how she plans to do this.

Now, if Tyler Florence could only get a contract with some speedo or underwear company. (I'd break out the EVOO and have a YUM-O time with that concept you can bet.)

I love Rachel Ray. She is so nice and bubbly...I wish she would become a poster here! When I read in the tabs about that nasty husband of hers, I just want to quash a jelly donut on his head!

I can never watch her without wondering if she wasn't in food shows, if she'd be in porn. And I watch Paula Deen to see how many sticks of butter she can add to a salad. And Ina Garten (The Barefoot Contessa) to see exactly WHEN she'll invite a heterosexual male to her dinner party (nope, hasn't happened yet). Giada (the pretty Italian cook) and Tyler (the pretty ultimate cook) are my favorites when I'm actually watching to learn something.

I heart Paula! I wish she was my grandma. Her tv personality is always warm and real and I like that. Plus her cooking is the way I like to cook, lots of butter and flavor none of this low fat crap! Of course everything in moderation. Now Rachel I don't care for. Too bubbly and fake imo. Although I do like her $40 a day show. I think for those of us who travel would find the show very helpful.

Hugs,

Greg

Now, now, Tyler Florence is not as fit as a few years ago when the Food Network showed him in board shorts. There are not that many famous male chefs in speedo condition. There are some quite handsome ones (Tyler, Todd English, Michael Chiarello) but let's face it - it takes the right build to pull of a bikini.

I like Paula when she isn't in front of an audience - she seems to be "always on" or forced in that setting. I saw a show when she was cooking in her backyard - oysters po-boy or something - and her uncle snuck up and grabbed and chowed down some oysters as she got mad and ran hitting him with her spatula - very funny stuff because it was real and she did look mad.

Rachael Ray is always so perky. I hate perky!

Forget the glamor pusses, for cooking give me Paul Prudhomme any day. Of course I don't want to see him in speedos.

They don't make speedos that big, thankfully. :+
