I went to see it, it's good, nothing to deep for sure, fun and a little funny. Kate McKinnon is hilarious as a rapacious American music industry operative.

This just showed up on HBO a couple of weeks ago. I loved it. @oldNbusted pegged it for me.

it's good, nothing to deep for sure, fun and a little funny

and also some tear-jerking moments. My buddies and I were huge Beatles fans in high school (not to say we still aren't) and this brought up so much nostalgia.

 

meeting a 78-year-old John Lennon made me cry. So did the final song, Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, over the credits, with Jack and Ellie's home life, and the quick bit of the two other people who remembered the Beatles dancing around in Sargent Pepper outfits
