I met Cade shortly after I posted the OP.

 

While he was traveling with Jason, his escorting activities were not under Jason’s control.

 

It used to be that Jason answered all the calls and arranged all transactions for his boys. There was also one set of rates for bookings.

 

Cade told me that this time, they conduct their own business. I’ve seen that. Each guy has his own contact info and rates. I spoke directly to Cade about our booking.

I have never hired him but we have a common friend whose recommendations I blindly trust. Based on that source, Cade is one of the good guys, and absolutely worthy to hire. I have no idea about his fees, though.
