I'll be going for February 27 for the first time in 2 years (I still have a closet full of beads) . Are Oz, the Bourbon Parade and Corner Pocket still the places for meating rentable guys? Are there any special gay events this year? We'll have my #1's gf in tow so I need a sex outlet.

 

Will post the trip.

Try the dancers at Oz. Most like to play. However last year the selection was not all that great. Corner Pocket is a crap shoot.

Yes, Im sitting in Corner Pocket at 9pm on tuesday wondering why. There are some hot guys who come through during Mardi Gras so Im hoping. Flying my #1 down from DC with his gf in case it stays dead. Ill try Oz in an hour. Usually hot guys there and Bourbon Parade but taken or busy. (or down from DC working Mardi Gras :) )

I had good luck at the Corner Pocket during my Fall Trump trip there...2 out of 3 nights I visited were good. Gets better later but I’m sure you’re aware of that

It’s “carnival” until then not “Mardi Gras”? Just sayin’??‍♂️

Actually I'm from New Orleans and the entire carnival season is known as Mardi Gras with March 5th being Mardi Gras Day. If you're going to correct someone, please know what you're talking about.

As for looking up rentable guys, Corner Pocket does have guest dancers that come in just for Mardi Gras. There is also Hunk Oasis on Bourbon Street that does have some dancers that cater to gay men even though it is a strip club for women. Oz and Bourbon Pub and Napoleon's Itch all have dancers during Mardi Gras and then you have escorts on RM that do visit as well. If you message me and let me know what kind of guys you are looking for, I do have some contacts I can send you myself.

Does anyone have any experiences to share about Hunk Oasis? I've been curious, but it looks like their minimum entry is $25 (http://www.hunkoasisneworleans.com/packages/) and I fear that it will be full of loud, screeching bachelorette parties.

Prices do go up during Mardi Gras and yes, it will be full of women hence it being a strip club for women. You'll want to ask for Corbin, Maverick or Ares.

Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Pocket were busts. By closing time there were a dozen providers; 4 dancers and eight others. Almost every one could be described as skinny country meth head. Maybe anything choice gets picked up and whisked away fast. Maybe its too soon for Mardi Gras visitors.

 

The numbers of providers is certainly there and the Pocket is notable as prossiby the last old-style hustler bar in the US.

This was my experience, even on quieter nights. I noticed that the “cream of the crop” seemed to have regular patrons they immediately flocked to and hung around almost exclusively pre/post dance sets.

There is one 4ft tall dancer in the military who's cute and a potential boytoy. But after 10 minutes chat he says he's 100% straight, never guys. wtf

Is this the new gay strip club midway up Bourbon? With the crowds there I cant imagine its easy to walk to. Havent trued yet. They open at 8 while Oz and Parade are open all day.

 

If their cover is $25 Im not taking one for the team.
