It has been ten years since Sullenberger landed his plane in the Hudson River and nearly 200 people were rescued from a floating airliner.

This situation was amazing and as amazing is that ten years have passed since this happened. It seems just yesterday that I turned on the TV and was taken aback when there was a news interruption and their were live shots of dozens of people standing on the wings of an airplane floating in the Hudson River.

Perhaps one of the great human interest stories of the new millennium.
