If $250 is too steep for you, I'd consider Mark Nuttle in the West Village. I've been to him, but not re cently. Nice guy, good massage, and he will push the envelope as far as you want.

I too can vouch for Mark Nuttle. I’ve seen him about a dozen times. I echo everything Beethoven said about him. He’s also exceedingly bright, articulate, and a good conversationalist if you like that sort of thing.
