Have you ever talked to someone about the pros and cons of escorting full time with an ad in rentmen? One guy has reached out to me about doing this full time. He has been doing this on the side for most of the year. He is gay for pay and admits he’s only doing this for the money. I gave him my views on this. I wonder if any of you guys have experienced having this sort of conversation with anyone and how it ended up.

I too have recently been contacted by a fellow who to date has escorted as a private sideline. He is now considering advertising on Rentmen. I think he would be popular, but I remain concerned that this will be a short-term solution to a long-term question.

I assumed they had a day job while doing this on the side. One that pays for normal expenses including rent/mortgage, health and dental insurance, etc. They need to make enough money to cover all that on their own. Not to mention that they had the luxury of using that day job as an explanation when asked about what they do for a living.

 

Making the money is not a problem I’m sure especially if they’re hot and can keep regular clients. But if they only get one-time clients then they need to get ready. Some months will be busy and others not so much. A good review helps boost the business while a bad one can ruin it. They don’t have the luxury of that steady income from the day job once they go full time escorting. Having an ad online could also expose them. They may have a friend or a relative that uses the site.

I’ve told him to provide a face pic by text or email when requested. But not as a private pic on RM as members can unlock those pics anytime. Sad to say it will probably be the end of his day job if he goes through with it.

For the fellow I know, full-time public escorting would eliminate his ability to work in his day job. I’ve counseled him to realize that, in my view, escorting cannot be compartmentalized. I can envision his identity becoming known immediately at his job, and of course friends and family....and I have told him to be mindful of this.

As you can see, my reply was addressing the second sentence, in which the OP indicates that RM members can unlock private pics.

 

I'm actually glad you overlooked that second sentence when pointing out what you thought was a mistake, as I failed to mention in my post that that only premium (i.e. paying) members can access private pics that an advertiser has deemed "semi-private."

The more entrepreneurial ones might use escorting as a segue to an onlyfans page like that Justin dude. That guy is actually making 6 figures just from onlyfans.
