Showtime ups the ante with gay Muslim nude scenes.

The buzz last year on Showtime's "Sleeper Cell" was so deafening, I had to check things out. It makes Fox's "24" look a little like Disneyland but one must remember, even though it's Pay, this is still TV.

 

I just finished seeing Season 2 and, although I thought Season 1 was more intense, Season 2 offers some interesting gay themes.

 

Hot and sexy actor Omid Abtahi plays a closeted gay-Muslim terrorist. His steam-room "coming-out" scenes are not to be missed. And, at one point in the story, Ilija Korjenic, played by Henri Lubatti, who also shows a tight-muscular nude body in certain scenes, purposely stumbles into a Hamburg gay bar to tell all the muscle queens they're going to burn in hell. Of course the Germans practically beat him to death.

 

Michael Ealy, who plays the male lead, also take his clothes off. Apart from his sexy body, he stands out as a (relatively) new actor to watch.

 

Terror as a turn-on? Who-da thunk.

Hmm - Definitely have to watch this show now...I heard about it, but never got to recording it on my Tivo...
