Sevilla and Córdoba are also worthy of visiting if you’re into Spanish history. Not familiar with Senegal in west Africa but if it’s like Kenya in east Africa enjoy the natural beauty of the country and refrain from gay activities.

I will be traveling next month visiting Hanoi, Andelucia, Lisbon, and Dakar. I know, it is a crazy trip. Any suggestions? What town in Andelucia should I spend the most time? Malaga? Granada? Doesn't hurt to ask...

In Andalusia (Southern Spain): Seville (Cathedral, minaret Giralda, Alcázar par of Game of Thrones was filmed there), Cordova (Roman bridge, mosque-cathedral), and Granada (Alhambra, Tombs of Isabella and Ferdinand). You must book the Alhambra now, only 5,000 tourists allowed every day.

Mosque-cathedral Cordova (Córdoba in Spanish)

and if you have time near Cordova you should take a bus to see Medina Azahara

I spent several winter months in the South of Spain years ago. The weather in Malaga is milder than the rest of country in January.

That's because they have the Sierra Nevada North of it and it keeps cold weather from coming in yet exposes the province to the winds coming from Africa.
