Lane Garrison Car Crash Kills Teenager

I just read on the Internet that this Hollywood actor who is 26 and from Dallas (and BTW is sort of cute), was involved in a car crash that killed a 17 year old boy and left a 15 year old girl in critical condition. Beverly Hills police did not confirm who was driving the SUV but the car was registered to Garrison. There was another 15 year old girl in the car.

 

What strikes me as strange at first glance is why a 26 year old would be roaring around town with younger teenagers, two females clearly underage and a 17 year old boy? Maybe there's something to explain this (family members?) but if these were his friends, one has to ask, why is a 26 year old guy hanging around with kids like this? Maybe our Los Angeles members will know more about this strange incident.
