I downloaded the new Apple OS Mojave a couple of days ago. Already two problems. The first and the biggest and the one I have accepted was that although the representative who walked me through installation by phone told me I would not lose the information that was installed under the prior OS of course I lost everything. That included all my favorite porn clips that I had saved over the years. Priorities right? Also everything I had bookmarked. However the biggest thing that is currently my bane is that when I play any kind of clip it will stop for a few seconds or more and then start up again. It certainly makes those erotic playtime moments nearly impossible because I have to wait until it starts up again. Has anyone else downloaded Mojave and had the same problem (the stopping during video playing)? I don't want to go back to the prior OS (not sure I even could) because it would mean losing what I could recreate already. Thanks.

I don't see how downloading Mohave would affect the favorites you saved in your browser. What browser do you use? Regarding playing clips, are these clips saved on your computer or are they clips you are accessing on a website?

PS: I downloaded Mohave and have encountered no issues.

Actually I called Apple a second time and a technician walked me through a second process where I wiped everything clean. He had me erase the Mojave I had installed and install it again. You are right, I did not lose the list of favorites that I had bookmarked when I installed Mojave the first time. However because I had not made iCloud usable (or whatever the correct word would be) I lost all my files. Actually I did not care that I lost the files because there really was nothing I cared that much about. It was much harder trying to recall what I had bookmarked over the years and at least I did not lose them this second time. The Apple technician did attempt to find my old files which appeared to be there because it showed that a large amount of space was being used on my computer but he just could not find them. And as I said I really did not need them. Above all, once we reinstalled Mojave I had no more problems playing downloads that I put on my desktop and I did open iCloud so things should also be saved to that ether. And a lot of what I really use was saved in my Yahoo browser and that was not lost. So everything is right with the world now. Thanks for your post.

I'm glad that you were able to get this resolved.
