First trip to Dallas next week on Monday night. Any tips for fun places to go out and hopefully get some action? Bars, bathhouses, strip clubs.... open to anything.

In no particular order of importance or fun:

 

Bars on the strip (intersection of Throckmorton and Cedar Springs):

JRs...popular, younger

TMC...popular, dancers on several nights

S4.....huge dance bar, busy later.

Rose Room (inside of S4) great drag shows that start on time

Roundup Saloon....C&W, popular, great place to watch cowboys dancing

Sue Ellen’s....women’s bar

Woody’s....sports bar, fun place

Alexander’s on Cedar Springs

Cedar Springs Tap House on Cedar Springs

 

Other bars:

 

The Hidden Door...older crowd, bears, catch-all crowd, opens at 7:30 am

The Eagle...intersection of Inwood and Maple

Kaliente....Latino bar on Maple

Liquid Zoo....catty corner from Martys Live on Maple

 

 

All bars will have outdoor patios to accommodate smokers. S4 has a secret password available on the FB page “Party on the Block” that gains you free entry on Friday or Saturday evenings. Can’t remember so check it out.

 

Bath house: The Club on Swiss Avenue

 

Dancer bars:

The Tin Room on Hudnall Ave. (more popular than Martys)

Martys Live on Maple Ave.

Zippers on Fitzhugh (some what off the beaten path)

 

In general, if you go to the intersection of Cedar Springs and Throckmorton you’ll have a good beginning to gay Dallas and you can branch out from there. Hope this helps. I’m sure others will be along to offer more inside information. Enjoy!
