Don't get too excited @Avalon It is a gay group, just as there was - until very recently - a similar dining club at Cambridge https://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/cambridge-news/cambridge-university-peterhouse-adonian-society-14509287

 

Despite the over-heated comments by some who never attended, the formal dinners were largely companionable where young gay students could meet each other...and in some cases, meet young academics.
