G'day!

Have some time mid-November while in the US and thinking LV.

Last time I was in Vegas was while NY-NY was being built. Think it is time for a return visit.

Where do you start re hotels? Went to Expedia and the Luxor was listed at $79/nite, which seems fair after checking NY prices.

Should I approach from a different angle?

Re the lads-Aaron Mark and Zachery Scott look like they would be right up my alley-so to speak. However, open to suggestions.

Thanks, mates. You are the best. Cheers! Richard.

You can't really compare NYC prices to Vegas prices in any way whatsoever. Vegas is less expensive in general, and is MUCH more demand-driven. If there is a big event in town that will likely fill most hotels, the rates go WAY up. This only happens in NYC for New Year's Eve. In Vegas, it can happen for every rodeo, truck rally, or hi-tech convention throughout the year.

$79/night for Luxor ain't bad. It isn't the best you can get, but it could also easily go for double that.

Some will tell you to spend a lot of time with biddingfortravel.com and if you have the time you can save a lot of money. But with fixed dates, I generally just use Expedia.com or Travelocity.com and pick a known quantity. Once I've decided to go, I don't like the anxiety of hoping a bid is accepted. But that's just me.

Can't help you with the boys. I haven't had good luck my last few trips to Vegas because the ones that interested me were out of town. :-( Then, again, I was there on business and didn't have much time for boys. :-(

But I wouldn't hesitate to take Luxor at $79/night.

Las Vegas is the right choice.

I'm trying to book a hotel in New York for the mens' and womens' finals at the US Open the weekend after Labor Day. Prices get higher every year, but this is ridiculous. Hotel prices in Flushing (in Queens where that tournament takes place are close to $170 a night), let alone Manhatten.

AlanM-if you have any points built up with any of the hotel chains NYC is a great place to use them.

Swallows22,The Luxor is a very nice property.Ask for a side tower room. While not as dramatic as the main building the side towers rooms are twice the size. The only caveat I have about the Luxor is that it is a little out of the way-but not to bad.

Both of those boys as well as Mario Roma are the "stars"of the las vegas reviews-you should have fun!Book Aaron well in advance.

Enjoy yourself and when a nice jackpot!

I like ta stay at the Hooters Hotel and Casino, it's on the next block from NYNY and MGM and there's all those horned up dudes around the pool that will never git close to all those hooters. Most of the hotels have good rates during the weekdays, then on the weekends they go up double or triple. I check on http://www.coopertravels.com , she books my flights and hotels and keeps my full name confidential.

If you do stay at the Luxor, try to get an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. They usually are not that much extra ($75 or so per night) and have a separate siting room, plus a nice two person jacuzzi under the slanted windows.. It is great if you are "entertaining"

I will be at Hooters in a couple weeks, thought it would be nice since it's newly rebranded and refurbished, and the price was right!

Just hope there's some hot guys to gawk at as well as Hooters girls and not just a bunch of nasty rednecks....not saying all rednecks are nasty mind you ;-)

I like stayin' there too... All those horny dudes, they ain't gettin' hold of them hot tities. It is kinda white trash, but they seem to be more of the young and hot, The upscale Hotels seem like they're more of the older sedintary folks.

That's a good price for a great hotel. It's not in the center of the action, but it's a fairly quick walk (or shuttle to the Excalibur) to the MGM Grand, where the monorail will take you anywhere on the strip (or to the convention center or Las Vegas Hilton). I hired Zachery Scott some 7 to 8 years ago. He was very nice and naturally smooth. He was already a little soft at the waist. Most of the pictures he displays are from about that time. I'm curious as to how he really looks like now. I hope he still looks as good.
