When I look at Rentboy on my home computer I find that if i've gone into the ad to see the additional pictures, I can't click on the "stat card" button and obtain results. To see the stats i have to go back to initial page of the escort --then when i click on the stat button--the stat pop-up--pops up. I've noticed when I've been on other computers that I can click on the 'stat card" button either at the initial page or the additional picture page--and it works in both places.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Gareth

The usual first step in diagnosing browser issues is to clear the browser's cache and try again. Often the problem either goes away, or morphs into something more easily diagnosed.

But I'm curious if you've asked the folks at Rentboy for help?

No I haven't asked the Rentboy people. While I haven't cleared my cache specifically for this--I have, I'm sure, cleared my cache and looked at Rentboy soon after with the same problem occurring.

I wonder if it might have something to do with Java--forgive my ignorance if there is no JAVA involved with Rentboy--I forgot to mention in my original post that if some of the pictures on the initial page of ads fail to load --for example escort A's pictures load but escort B's right below don't- the same thing happens with being unable to get the stat button to work until the page is loaded completely.

Thanks,

Gareth

Gareth,

I assume you are using the Internet Explorer browser. If so, you may want to make sure that the Java Sun and/or the Microsoft VM boxes are checked off in "Internet Options/Advanced" Tab.

If your PC came with a later version of Windows XP, Microsoft may have not provided their version of Java (Microsoft VM) with the browser/OS. You may have to download and install Java on your own.

Regardless, it won't hurt to have the latest version of Java installed.

You can download Sun Java (JRE verion 5.0 update 7)for Internet Explorer here:

good luck,

enjoy

Rendie
