I had to provide a pic of my ID way back when. The problem for me is “verifying my photos” (which is optional, and on your page indicates to visitors that you’ve done so) by taking a selfie holding up a paper with my URL (rentmen.com/loremipsum) on it. I just don’t feel comfortable with the possibility of that photo swimming around; it is irrefutable proof that I was at one point an escort.

I did not submit any ID either for the exact same reason, though I completely understand RM's angle on this and if I was RM I would enforce it too.

However, in my particular case, I used simple reasoning with them. I told them that my first verified review came out 10 years ago. If I was underage right now (let's say 17), then my first review must have come out when I was 7 years old and furthermore I have been advertising with them for the past 7 years, which means that if I just became an adult (18), then they are in big trouble because that means that they have been advertising me since I was 12 years old.

I think that worked for them as proof that I am of adult age. They obviously don't want to advertise underage men which I fully understand and support but in my case I was able to prove that I am an adult ;)

I had to provide ID to be verified... IDK... Maybe if you're already well known it's not an issue...

I was in the process of reactivating my RM ad with the plan to start traveling and visiting new areas and then I saw that they are now requesting an ID for verification. For obvious reasons, I don’t feel quite comfortable with the idea of sending a picture of my license or passport. Is this something that’s required, and has anyone else not provided an ID and been able to maintain your account??

If you are 18-22yo and there is some ambiguity, I might understand, but otherwise, this is plain and simple privacy invasion, lack of respect and lack of common sense.

You are 32yo, does still cashiers ask for your ID to check that you are above 18yo when you buy alcohol?

In a lot of places, yes. Any place that wants to protect themselves from potential problems will card everyone.

Daddys opinion is that being a male escort is not illegal.

I was once an escort and can say that I never slept with a client. Fun story, but privacy must prevail.

Good point! Do you pay RM using your credit card?

Reporter stopped by TSA agent who didn’t know District of Columbia is in US

It's sad when blue-collar idiots reach positions of power and ruin your day... We need to make natural born citizens pass a test just like the one immigrants do when they apply to become citizens... and this was before the "fake news" madness took over Middle America.

I hadn't heard about the DC license fiasco for that traveler. Doesn't surprise me. American voters were stupid enough to vote crooked/racist/rapist/incestuous Trump as the Electoral College President. The stupid f*ckers still chant "Mexico" and "Lock Her Up" at his human scum/trash rallies. Mexico hasn't paid a dime, results of a Republican led investigation into Secretary Clinton's email said she committed no crime, a lot of Trump cabal members have plead guilty/been indicted/convicted/actually locked up and Trump (who has already exceeded 13,000 confirmed lies) is most likely headed to prison sometime after January 2021.
