I found the massuers at Energy competitive. I wonder if massuers have their own forum and critique us.... I've seen the rivalry between massuers at different spas. It can be awkward when you see two of the massuers you used and have to go with one of them.

I'm not familiar with David. I'm surprised this happened there, Lynn wouldn't allow it. I'm curious what a spa massuer thinks is a good tip. Tim, I've had great experience with Lucas and Norik(?). Certainly bringing up tips during the massage is a buzz kill. Your feelings are justified.

Absolutely agree! I've scaled back on a few tips because they were lackluster. I've tipped generously when the massuer did an amazing job. Usually the next appointment is even better. I usually enjoy the following appointment because the transitions are natural and the massuer knows what I enjoy.

Any rececent intell on providers who give NURU massages in NYC area?

I always opt for the table shower. I enjoy it and I like knowing I'm clean. I'd say it's about 15 minutes. They offer a shower or hot towels after the massage. Shower is self serve. I take advantage of this as well.

I seldom use private massuers. I tip 60 - 100% for spa massages. If it's a lower end spa, I'd tip more proving the service was good.

Im similar, I tip 60 -100% as well. I find if I have a great session I'll be very generous. The benefit of that is the next massage is that much better.

I'd say Lucas and Max are mid 20's and Ryan is early 20's. All three Asian.

Call. It's your money you are spending. Be upfront this will guarantee happy endings for all involved.. I always call to ensure the massuer I prefer is working. If he isn't I always ask if someone similar is available. If not, I try another spa. Most spas want you to have an enjoyable time.
