Back to the topic... I will let YOU decide if it is worth the time while you are in Singapore to visit the:

I don't know if this is a specifically New York City thing (we are wayyyy too full of ourselves here, in either case, btw...) but I have a real problem getting responses from providers when alll i do is ask (politely) for rate, location, availability. Just today, trying to book for tomorrow, everyone is just acting really sketchy.... and, btw, I do have stats and pics on my RM profile.... When I do find someone responsive and good, he becomes a regular of mine, because trying to nail someone new down and book with them is just too much drama! ("First world problems"?)

there are also "plagiarism checkers" - software that actually compares work written by students to sites on the internet and returns results that not only show the instances of copying but the exact location of the site copied from got lots of use during virtual learning!

by very definition wikipedia could never be considered a primary source, unless someone was doing a research piece on some sort of meta- process.... but i stress it is also not a secondary source - knowing how to evaluate evidence is an essential skill that is very specifically taught now ... and wikipedia could never past muster for many many reasons (it is anonymous, not reviewed, often gives information without proper citation, etc., etc.) it can be useful as a launch pad into or towards reliable sources.

How so.... if I may ask

Agreed. My last encounter with him did not exactly reek of emotional well being.

Similar situation happened to me, perhaps even worse: I actually arrived at the guy's place, parked my car, texted him for the apartment number, and was told "Sorry I cannot host" Tried to leave a warning on RentMasseur and it was rejected.

don't be too harsh on yourself -- the initial tone of his website is appealing and seductive.... then he hits you with wanting credit card information once you are lulled in - definitely to be avoided but we are all vulnerable to making "poor choices" from time to time

Yeah man spa is the first USA massage spa I ever went to a number of years back.... it was basic and it was wonderful

How many contacts do you have in your phone?
TumYum replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
330.... badly arranged, not at all sorted, and relying much too much on my memory to figure out just who is who..... sometimes a random text happens: a student? a hot masseur in manila? a parisian buddy? a bangkok flirtation? but i guess it is better than the 18,000 emails in my inbox, haha. -
yes, i agree with you but.... believe it or not.... that is not the "thai style" of presenting oneself.... although, truth be told, these working guys will do what they can to please the customer!

i guess some people -- even the smallest amongst us -- will do anything to be remembered -
yesss - so awkward, particularly when he has already given you that smile of recognition!!!
-
that is the bangkok model which i love... at first i found it a bit intimidating.... 20 guys staring at me while i nervously tried to avoid eye contact and kept a very awkward smile on my face ... but it definitely works
-
wow..... i totally get what you are saying.... i was there for the NY opening of Sweeney Todd and saw Angela Lansbury - pretty amazing.... but I also loved seeing several previews of Merrily We Roll Along - incredible, even if in a very different way!

on this site, it is made easier by the fact that the "hateful/awful"s seem to exist only to dominate the politics forum -- you will rarely if ever see them otherwise. elsewhere here there are a couple of unpleasantnesses, but with just a small bit of skillful navigation life here is pretty good. -

heya, massageAdam... yes there are some hateful/awful people here, but their voices are disproportionately represented relative to their actual number. learn who to ignore and you will be fine here.... it has been my method for happy survival! -

sometimes the "unconventional" is more attractive than the typical, yes?
-
it's a pity but your experience is highly believable... i met him a few years ago and while fun, even then he did seem like a bit of a hustler - and kinda self-absorbed - i think he is trying to market himself as a model/actor now, so he is probably more into being admired than actually doing much of anything. true?

Thank you SO very much for sharing this! You gave me a smile... and a tear....

Posting a profile on RM only in Spanish is definitely atypical, but New York being what it is I would say is totally acceptable -- a part of the client base will be alienated, a part will be entranced, a part will be appreciative. Our chats have been in English and while they have been brief they have been informative. However, there is no question that the two of us, should we meet, will not be discussing the subtleties of Chaucer.

outcalls only, 300/hour - RM text is very seductive we are chatting but have not yet arranged to meet. i will keep (all of) you informed

My "regular" and I developed a close relationship.... constant texting throughout the day.... a whole (sugar)daddy/son thing going on - seemed to be intimate and genuine.... until: one day he got an offer to work in a Grade D BB porn "studio", and immediately ghosted me. following an initial flurry of activity, his "porn star" career seems to have fizzled, he has been repeatedly banned from twitter, has a moribund OF page, and a hidden presence on IG. just saying. think deeply before you act.

Hey guys, I tried the 4000+ message Spa thread but just got overwhelmed, so.... I am going to try to make this as specific as possible so it does not turn into some general kind of fishing expedition I have always (at least in NYC) hired "direct" but love the idea of the fun and convenience of a spa setting....(It works GREAT for me when I am traveling to other countries) Can anyone direct me to the spa I shouldk try first? What I like: professional service with no/little upsell, stylish Asian guys, a place that is open mid to late afternoon.... Not so concerned about price, spmetimes "cheap thing no good"., haha Help appreciated!
