I indeed noticed the lack of smiles in the crowd. HOWEVER!!! The pic made me smile and I knew that to would also make you smile, not to mention quite a few others here as well!!!

In re-rereading your initial post, it certainly brought back memories of the good sisters and parochial school. What you experienced was what they would reference in my day as, "The near occasion of sin". Another type, would be if you walked by an X-rated movie theater (again I'm dating myself) and peaked inside. You didn't actually go in and watch the movie, it was simply a look. However, just by being tempted you experienced the "near occasion of sin".
 
Still, it did not matter that you in essence did nothing really wrong. After all it was just some harmless looking, but they always made you feel that you would still burn in hell, or at the very least purgatory. Damn I forgot all about purgatory.
 
In any event, you would still be punished and would have to endure your just punishment. I think that's one reason why you knew that it would be best not to tell the nun what you were doing.
 
Funny, but the local X-rated theater was called the "Crown Theater". When referencing it the nuns would not even mention the name. I guess that would be the "near occasione of sin" even for them. They would simply say that the place was named for what a king wears his head!

Yes. And she LOOOOVED her gay son lol. Told EVERYONE how much fun we always have together going to shows shopping how much fun my friends were he took me here or there etc, more fun than with my bro or even my sis. I lost her this Spring. Miss her like crazy. Still pick up the phone like 10X a day cause I forget. Still haven't erased all her Vmails n stuff. It's weird cause you don't have a family of your own or a partner so it's like there's no one who gives a shit about you anymore. (I know not true of course, there's fam and wonderful friends etc) but this was the person who says call me when you get home put on a warm coat eat something call me when your plane lands go to the doctor etc etc you know stuff like that. It's so weird not having that anymore.

DG just for admitting that you watched "professional" wrestling you get a "like"! Funny as a kid it really did not turn me on as it seemed overly phony and the guys were not really in the best shape. However, later on I did get more interested in it as the guys really began to get pumped up. Of course by that time it was even more "over the top" unbelievable. Still, I did attend a few "shows" in person. The funny thing, a friend actually thought it was totally real and when John Stossel did his exposé was so shocked that he stopped watching cold turkey!
 
Also, back then the fact that the then WWF (now the WWE) is located locally one might even see a wrestler or two while shopping in a store, or walking down the street. Incidentally, I stopped watching it in the late 1990's so if I have bumped into a wrestler locally since then I would just think that he was a hot guy. I would have no clue regarding his identity.
 
Oh, and speaking of wrestlers, there is one who does indeed live here locally who works it even though he has not worked for the WWE to the best of my knowledge!

LOL! The figure four leg lock and the sleeper hold were my favorites! In fact a couple of weeks ago a certain escort threatened to put the sleeper hold on me. He didn't do it, but perhaps next time I'll have him try it to see for myself if it's for real !
