Regarding a cock ring being inspected by the TSA... perhaps one should wear the neoprene variety... but then again even that would probably show up on the scanner screen and be inspected. A couple of years ago I was given the full inspection by the TSA in Key West and I was wearing only a tank and gym shorts... but then again it was Key West...

I can not believe that no one is currently interested in playing with hot wax at the NYBC. Since I moved out of the area I have not been able to attend frequently, but the last time that I was there which was in August of 2017 there was indeed hot wax play. Byran and especially Phen who run the club are into such a scene. Of course, in recent years the club has morphed into something different from its BDSM origins with many guys attendeing to “get lucky” to phrase things in a diplomatic manner in what is a public forum as opposed to having S&M type activities. Hence, I can understand that on a given night many guys who attend might not be into wax or even flogging etc. However, Phen definitely is an expert at wax (and so many other things) so ask any you just might get your wish.

Just a couple of addition thoughts to expand on the great advice offered above. Simple is better regarding wax.. Since one can not always be in a position to chemically analize the wax that is available avoid expensive scented and pigmented candles as they usually have more additives and a higher melting point. So use a cheap votive unsented type candle. Also, the further the wax falls the more opportunity for it to cool off. So higher is safer. So if you are unsure of the melting point allow the wax to cool as it falls to avoid injury. One additional tip is to use a water based creamy lotion to protect the skin prior to play. It can ptevent burns and aids in clean up as well. Also, it is good to have ice cubes on hand as a precaution... not to mention that the fire and ice effect can be quite HOT! And a fun surprise if the sub is blindfolded! (PS: I was burned but not scared for life by a guy who had no clue many years ago. I was blindfolded at the time so I am not sure what he did improperly. I have since learned more about how to do it safely. So lesson learned... know with whom you are playing.)
