I’m a masseur and have had a few clients say they don’t like the new format. Biz has gone down a lot most likely cause the new site is not user friendly.

I just now noticed it’s down as well. A newer site they recently started called massagindr is also down. I hope nothing happens with RM or Rentmasseur!? The timing is sus. Clients might wanna start keeping the numbers or personal websites (if they have them) of providers you like in case everything gets shut down!?

Someone just gifted me a month for RM. thank you so much!! One site down just need to deal with rent masseur now. Just a heads up for anyone affected RM And Rentmasseur are no longer taking visa. And just learned that my Venmo debit card doesn’t work internationally. If you don’t have a credit card I recommend getting a capital one 360. The site claims it does international charges and doesn’t charge a fee. Thanks again Mike for taking care of my RM ad for me so I can least have one ad till I get my new card. (I didn’t put your last name didn’t know if you want me to put you on blast 😆) Update: if you add money to your Apple Pay and pay directly from There it works on rent masseur. Probably works on RM too. Hours of research just to make a payment. Lol

My Venmo debit card which is a MC won’t work. I guess they don’t allow international charges. I ordered a capital one 360 check acct debit card that I think will allow international charges. Means I can’t work till it arrives tho.

Thankfully my Venmo card is Mastercard. I would Been sol if wasn’t for that. Granted I’m assuming they will take MC debit cards as I haven’t tried yet. Waiting for a friend to Venmo me some money since bank transfers to Venmo take an eternity.

Ya I just got the news myself when my ad expired and it wouldn’t let me pay with my visa. So I transferred funds to my MC Venmo card only to find out it takes a week for it to transfer, so I had to ask a friend to loan me some money via Venmo so I can renew my ad. There was a lawsuit against visa for monopolizing the industry so maybe that has something to do with it!? Oh and as for crypto if they ever force us to only use that I won’t be able to do RM or Rmasseur anymore cause crypto is scary. Buy a dollar and five seconds later it goes down .20 cents. And then when comes to spending the crypto (if you can manage to do it fast enuf before the value drops) I have no clue. Anyways I don’t know if it’s related to the lawsuit against visa by the DOJ but the timing is sus.

I honestly don’t know. I think someone hit me up asking to meet up. I let him know my rates. And referred him to my website and next day my account was canceled. Now when guys message on IG I am too scared to reply so I just ignore the messages unless they ask something specific and in that case I message my number for them to text. It was literally me just saying my rates I think tho. The dude was prob just mad I didn’t wanna do a freebie. And reported me.

You are correct. OF will shut down anyone that tries to hire someone on the site. Best way to contact is via Twitter. Also wouldn’t contact via IG. I’ve had an IG acct shut down cause someone tried to book me thru the messenger. Snapchat is also safe way to contact. In my case I have my twitter linked to my OF and when they get there my website is listed where I have all my contact info.

I know you said you figured it out but just wanted to say for others that might not be premium users this is the RM change. They created premium photo gallery that premium users can unlock 🔓 or open without asking for our permission first. Then there are the regular private photos that non premium members request us to get unlocked. I logged out of my account to see what one can do when not logged in. You should be able to see the profile and main pics without logging in. And can click the phone tab to get our contact info. If you want to chat in the RM message app then you would need to log in. Again know you said you figured it out but figured I’d add some more details in case this came up for anyone else.

Personally I would never cancel on someone cause I got a "better offer". I grew up in Oklahoma though and was raised to have better manners than to mess with a client's time like that. Also I believe in Karma. We as provider's probably get canceled on alot more than clients do though...

I won't be raising my rates, but I also won't be lowering my rates.
