True woofie. I did check on my fuckbuddy the next week to see if he was ok. But he only said yes and then never replied back. I guess he was embarrassed.

That’s scary. A few weeks ago I had a hookup who fainted in my bathroom (with the door locked). I did call 911 but in the end he came to and got up on his own. He was quite young, too. I think everyone needs to learn about harm reduction because drug abuse is inevitable and you just need to learn to see the signs.

5 hours and three countries away! He’s from the US and I’m in Latin America. I’ve hired three times before-once from the UK (bad experience), once from Prague (great experience!) and another time from the UK which was also great. So It’s been mostly ok for me.

Well I don’t expect someone super public to cop to “faking it” but maybe if they had a second profile or an anonymous user they could add something to this conversation.

I totally get what you’re saying. But I wondering if it would be good etiquette to inform the provider before hand that you don’t like compliments ? That it’s best if you just get on with it?

I like that quote @pdxleo but we’re talking about another context here. But I get what you mean.

I totally get it. But sometimes I’m so cynical I prefer no pet names, no “baby”s or whatever when dealing with providers. I get it comes from insecurity.

I hope this doesn’t come off weird-but I feel like compliments that come from a provider are almost “expected”. One potential provider just called me “attractive” which made me feel weird. I’m not trying to humblebrag here, just asking you guys about the ratio of honest / forced compliments you need to give when you’re seeing a client. Do you ever give a compliment just because ? How genuine is that moment ?

I wouldn’t be mad at a quick message to say thank you for visiting my profile. It opens up a conversation which I might have been too shy to start.

Echoing what a lot of people have said...I don’t have Facebook anymore and when I had it, I made sure my bday info wasn’t included in my profile. I’m with you, I don’t like random people wishing me a happy birthday just because an algorithm reminded them.
