Call me crazy or excessively stubborn, but I would put a portion of the agreed fee on a table and symbolically tear a 50 or 100 into tiny pieces before my exit in that scenario. -

Most recovery professionals (therapists, counselors, social workers, medical specialists) and most of those in 12 step recovery would agree with the need for a desire to stop drinking and drugging. But 12 step programs also emphasize the need to replace self will with spiritual principles and belief in a power greater than themselves. -

Well said. I've certainly experienced turmoil in my 7 or so years of hiring (psssst...there was an inseparable habit that went along with the hiring until 2 years ago. I wish I could explain further, but, you know...it accounted for most of the turmoil) And I have always related to Maurice because of the high school and college experiences I had). But we do not regret the past.

One can intentionally avoid multi-day settings of being subjected to behaviors, music, expressions repeated ad nauseum while still respecting Queens, drag queens, and all other rainbow colors. I can't be sure of @E.T.Bass's precise definition of "queens", but I'm fairly certain that he has some things in mind that would turn me off of this particular cruise as well.
