  2. Saw this and enjoyed it! Boy Meets Boy Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording Music Bill Solly Lyrics Bill Solly Book Bill Solly and Donald Ward Productions 1975 Off-Broadway 2012 London Boy Meets Boy is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Bill Solly, and book by Bill Solly and Donald Ward. It opened on Sep. 17, 1975 at the off-Broadway Actor's Playhouse in NYC. It was produced by Christopher Larkin and Edith O'Hara in association with Lee Barton. The show is a fast-paced, light-hearted musical-comedy, featuring a 1930s style Astaire/Rogers romance between two men, and a same-sex marriage. The world of the play posits that in 1936, same-sex relationships are considered every bit as normal as heterosexual ones. The play begins against the background of the abdication of Edward VIII and ends with the Duke of Windsor's (and the protagonists') June, 1937 weddings. This is appropriate, as one of the major themes is "Giving it Up for Love" ("the nightclubs and the taxis / and the tickets to the smash"). The action occurs in the Savoy Hotel, a few elegant nightspots in London, a bar in Spain, and a black-sheep aunt's disreputable establishment in Paris. The show had its London Premiere in Dec of 2012. The cast included Olivier Award winner Stephen Ashfield (Book of Mormon, Taboo) as Casey O'Brien with Johnjo Flynn as Guy Rose and Ben Kavanagh as Clarence Cutler
  3. Just watched the video from Live Aid. OMG! It really points up the difference between one of the talents of the ages and a very minor impersonation. Play the real concert and the Hollywood version side by side to see (and hear) the difference. The hype for Malek is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Garland, Streisand and Gaga are all major talents and their "Star is Born", even when compared to each other, has true talent to carry each version.

  6. Just saw the movie. Enjoyed it but with one reservation...... Rami Malek. He does a creditable job as a confused rock star, but, in no way does he evoke Freddie Mercury. Mercury was a force. Malek is only a presence. It made me want to watch my Queen videos.
  7. Have tried contacting him but no response.

    Mutual Respect

Being laid back about backed up service is one thing. Not keeping an appointment is a totally different situation.

    Mutual Respect

The only thing my mother gave me that I listen to is: "If you keep someone waiting you are telling them that you are more important than they are." I am always early.

Had an interesting experience last night. A new connection that had confirmed a 9 pm meeting three times did not show up at 9. I texted a "?" at 9:10. At about 9:20 I received a text back that he was at the gym and would be another 45 minutes before coming to me. I told him to forget it and deleted him from my phone. Around 10 o:clock he texted that he was ready to come. I again told him not to and he sent a photo of his body with a great big hard on. Was this supposed to make me forget his actions due to lust? I said forget it again and deleted it. My question - if it is even a question - is what kind of arrogance makes him think that his rudeness was ok? The "I'm at the gym" is not a reason for ignoring our 9pm agreed upon time. If he has no respect for my time why should I reward him for it? He lost $400 because of it. I have a firm policy of not rewarding bad behavior. More and more I am finding arrogance, bad manners and non-responsiveness running rampant among the escorts. Is it just me or is it getting harder and harder to find reliable escorts? Hope my rant didn't bore you!
  12. Did not come into play. But indications were that I could have.
  13. Cute as can be. A little less masculine than his photos. Good, soft massage. Will repeat to see what can happen.

  16. Stand corrected! Is there any way to change the title?
  17. Must be dense, but I don't get this. Explanation?
  18. Why hijack this thread. Rather rude, don't you think?
  19. I am put in mind of a tv movie that I saw recently. The mother of a home-schooled student was at the local high school and was standing in front of a trophy case. The principal with great pride asked her what she thought of all the trophies they had won. Her response was, "Not much. These are participation trophies. Nothing to do with winning." To me this is the really sad thing about how children are being raised today. Expectations vs participation. Very discouraging. It teaches them nothing!
