  1. Good point. The issue is I paid more for that extra time. I went with 90 for a reason. I didn't get what I paid for. Some great advice given here - which is what I was asking for. So thanks to all
  2. I actually really enjoyed the time. I would defiantly see him again. Lesson learned, book 60 not 90 with him
  3. i would tend to agree. we were nebulous in that (he said show up when you get here). We talked a few mins too. I undressed. he undressed.. Having said that, MAYBE I got 75 mins. No way I got 90. I'm really thinking I got between 60-75 at the most. I want to say I got there approx 545 and was dressing at 7pm (again some talk time etc)
  4. Another question.. .from masseurs out there.... When does the clock start? We chatted several minutes before the massage started. Is that when the time starts or when I get on the bed and he begins working on me
  5. thanks for all the great feedback...
  6. So I booked with someone recently. I had an amazing time. He was great. The massage was great. His body was great. We hit it off very very well !!!! I rarely book 90 mins, but in this case I did. While we had no set time (he was open and at the time didn't have an appt till later that eve), I said I would show up as soon as I could. Traffic/directions had me running a few mins late. When I got there we talked a few mins. I would say we started close to 6pm. I booked 90 mins. Right before we started or during he mentioned he now had a 730. He said no problem about fitting my 90 mins in. While on my back the massage was great. Pressure just how I like it, hit the areas I asked etc. Like I said massage part was great Turned over and got some chest work then well you know... (no legs or arms) As I was putting my watch on I noticed it was only 7pm!!! Like a fool I gave him the 90 fee and a minimal tip. I panicked and didn't know how to react. Here is my advice questions: 1) Should I write a review 2) If I write a review should I fill out these questions accurately: a) time booked b) actual time If I do it will be obvious it was me and I don't want to make waves. Obverall I was happy with massage and I def will book with him again next time he is here. I just wont go for 90 min session. Just don't want to make waves. Make sense? p.s. please don't PM me about who it was. Based on what I shared I'm not comfortable with it.
  7. I guess we don't see things from the masseur perspective (i.e how many times someone viewed). On high volume browses, then I can see your point.
  8. cuz no one challenges them. The guy in question I told him flat out NO way i'm paying $50 for you to travel maybe 5 miles. Especially when i'm forced to/don't have a choice
  9. Scott is very good and worth seeing. For the same price as Darko - NO question Scott is your man. Of this list, he leaves the others way behind in the dust. Darko, Just look at his ad. He travels constantly. Not sure how someone who travels that much can offer a good massage Mick aka bryan kelly aka this aka that aka more - goes by several different profiles. How can he be taken seriously Ash InthePinnes comment were spot on Do what you want. But don't say you weren't warned !!!
  10. At first I was going to disagree with you. But then I thought of that HUGE controversy with the gay couple getting married and the bakery wouldn't bake them a cake. My $.02 to the couple - goto another baker, this one clearly doesn't want your business. Give your money to someone who wants it, appreciates it and will earn it!!!
  11. I would agree, but the original poster didn't make that clear. He just said "when I sign in". Nothing said about not signed in. I'm just saying...
  12. WOW good thread... I guess it would be technically very possible for a masseur to goto his site and see hey johnny browsed me 20x. I could argue this both ways. I disagree a masseur should block though. Hey some might be shy. To the original poster, how do you know you were blocked. So you couldn't see their ad. Maybe they took it down? Until kinda recently I didn't know on RM that they can see you (if they are gold members). You can prevent them from seeing you. Its a setting in your profile On MF is there a similar feature?
  13. I had to think about this one.... For a truly only theraputic NOTHING else, I think $100 would be alot but reasonable. But as mentioned there are many variables. But clearly if someone is charging 140 upwards, its not just theraputic As I said in another post, guys that travel really dont have a right to charge higher when they travel. Reason being, their ads advertise so many luxuries including a soft table - which they have none of when visiting (most of them). I think many travelers come from places where they can ask those rates and just assume all parts of the country are like that. Ok rant mode off LOL
  14. Speaking of profiles that are annoying and why a client might not book. Here are some excerpts. These backup my earlier comment in this thread. This profile has so many rules, do's and don'ts. The upper case is a put off too. His available days and times are very confusing. READ THE PROFILE BEFORE TEXTING ME: - TEXT me DO NOT email me concerning your appointment - Provide 24hr to NLT 3hr notice for requested appointment YOUR 1st TEXT: - First Name - Day - Time - Reason His hours and availability are very confusing based on this (guess he doesn’t work weekends). Times blocked - are those when he does massage or times he doesn’t? GENERAL AVAILABILITY: DAYS - Any day but THURSDAY – SATURDAY preferred. TIMES – Blocked (9-12), (12-3), (3-6), (6-9) 60 mins in call is $60 yet out call is $125 (Double). Then he states: You Pay Valet Parkin
  15. no worries. thanks for responding
  16. Good to know - Thanks Where is he? His ad says serving from airport to buckhead.
  17. I actually did that for someone. I"m a great at stuff like that. However, this bit me in the ___ the masseur was an AHOLE (thats the nicest thing I can say). But that is a good option and worth noting
  18. Yeah the caps thing is a deal for me. Its like shouting. Ads that have alot of "dont do this" or "only this" etc are a huge turn off to me personally. Ads with too many rules are annoying. Hope this and the other replies are helping and you take them in a positive constructive way. After all you did ask for input.
  19. sorry can't help you. I posted on this. As big a city as ATL is there are some just lame ads and profiles here Also without knowing anything about you or what style etc you like, its hard to make any recommendations I would suggest looking at MF and RM finding some you are interested in and posting a "411" request including link to their ad and let folks reply (here or PM).
  20. I have heard this OVER and OVER again from masseurs visiting Atlanta that clients are very flakey. Not sure why this is. Some of the factors I take into consideration: 1) Price: I look at ads that say they offer this/do that - but that is when they are at their home studio. When they travel obviously they can't offer all that, but yet charge the same price. Perfect example is a bed. I very much prefer a table, but a bed is OK. But don't uncharge the customer to be done on a bed. There is no cost to pass on (ie traveling with it). For me anything over $140 I will seriously question. 2) Location: I'm specifically talking about my area Atlanta. I almost will not go downtown. 1) difficult and $$ to park 2) transit system is difficult and time consuming (I only do weekend massages that is when train schedule is slow plus Atl transit is crowded dirty and just gross). So if I call someone and they say downtown, I usually will not take it further. Know your market and where your clients are. I have asked many why they pick downtown - and the response is typically "because its easier or convenient for me". It should be more about clients than you - sorry if that hurts. 3) "Interview": Personally I like to talk to someone on the phone and ask some questions to make sure it is a good match. There are many ads that say text only or no phone calls. I will generally avoid those. If I call someone and leave VM and then immediately get a text and no phone call, another red flag for me. I seek mostly theraputic (I said mostly not entirely). So when I ask someone what style of massage they do and the first thing they say is erotic, then bye. 4) Reviews: If available I read them. I seriously wonder if many are fake. But I do read them. on RM if all the reviews say erotic or sensual I may steer clear I have had my share of masseurs. Many are good. But the bad ones are HORRIBLE and perhaps that is why people are shy or reserved about it. I would say be honest when talking to potential clients. Its bad when you get there and have a totally opposite experience based on what was discussed. Most look like their ad pics, but some weren't even close. Sure masseurs have been burnt before but so have clients. I have many where I paid for an hour and barely got 30 mins. Two very recent experiences of why I talked to someone but didn't follow through: 1) masseur advertised one price but on the phone quoted me $50 more stating that he can ONLY do outcalls and that is his outcall rate. So he was forcing the client to spend more and have someone come to him. If he offered both in and out and I chose in - that is on me. But to advertise both but say out only No way. Plus $50 to travel few miles tops was ridiculous. 2) was ready to book, but the masseur changed hotel without telling me. It was further away and not easy for me to get to Ok enough said. Just trying to answer the poster's question from a client perspective and view.
  21. There are some. few and far between
  22. If you find any please do share!!! I mean seriously, scan MF and RM. Pathetic sad ads pics and whats up with the rates. How do guys justify high rates and on a bed. Their ad avertises all these luxeries etc but that is at their place. On the road there are no luxuries but their rate doesn't reflect that I could go on but you get the point
  23. I want in on this too
  24. Within Pro there is a pulldown to select the specific service - scroll down and there is one for masseurs IMHO (at least in my area) they are all horrible, bad experiences etc etc etc But hopefully that helps answer your question
