Thats just RUDE!!! I totally agree with you. Works on the other side too. I Have had masseurs stand me up or even give fake address (yes) One texted me 5 mins before the appt and said "oh btw i switched hotels" and the new hotel was not close so no way I could have made it

alot of great points mentioned here For me I mostly seek therapeutic. I won't lie release (for me self) at the end is great (I mean come on we are guys) Having said that I like to stay in the 120-140 range tops. Ive found that the higher after that the less of a real massage it tends to be (not always). Guys that charge more typically get that because they are from a city where they can (i.e NYC) or offer many ammenaties (which they typically can't do when traveling but still charge those high rates IMHO
-
speaking of this guy, has anyone had any recent experience.. if so how is the massage part
-
ahhhh gotcha.. not a paid member here so can't see that IMHO a masseur shouldn't assume everyone has paid membership and should post at least 1 or 2 face pics
-
Hope it works out for you. I suspect it will be LESS massage and MORE erotic.. Hey if thats what you want go for it. His pics are nice
-
NO face pic !!! Rates are all over the place
-
Fadedyouth suggests passing with no info (which is OK) However, that was 2 years ago. Any recent updates or bookings?
-
bump since he will be in ATL end of Dec
-
Looks like his reviews are more erotic. So IMHO this isn't going to be much on the massage side - which is fine if thats what you are looking for. Also wish he would smile LOL
-
DUH.. I should have used Google https://www.instagram.com/massagesbylafayette/?hl=en Crappy part is he doesn't live directly in ATL (midtown/bhead area)
-
No contact info, but it does appear you can send him an email within RM (assuming you are a registered user). Course that doesn't mean he will get it. But you have more info to google him on. He looks good btw
-
I'm hearing MORE and MORE from people having the same experience. So at least I have the comfort of knowing its NOT me or nothing I did Really SAD. He does good work. I would love to see him again for a legit massage and skin services Worse is that he sends so many mixed signals. His RM add shows revealing pics and offers "sensual" If you cross him in ANY way you are banned. Just like the soup nazi episode of Seinfeld - LOL

I'm suire he is a super nice guy. But with all due respect Lahiker40 there is NO excuse for the way he has treated many people on here. If it were isolated I could agree. But there is a consistent pattern with him going hot and cold with MANY people. For me I saw him back in 2011 and had an amazing therapeutic only experience. So I booked again. This time at the end he went to town on me, so I rolled with it. A while later I booked a 3rd. He accepted. But when I got to the door he said "this isn't going to work". I have tried many times to reach out to him and work it out. Again his massages are amazing and i'm totally OK with legit only. But I'm on his banned list (a very large list). While I have nothing to be sorry for I have tried to apologize to him. I suspect i'm blocked and those texts never arrived. I know he is partnered. It seems that if his partner isn't around he does fool around with clients. Then its like he feels guilty and bans you. He sends so many mixed signals. He needs to be consistent which he is NOT. Also if he wants legit only then take down the very revealing and suggestive pics on RM site. Its too bad as I would really like to see him again and not just for massage but for his other health services (facial/skin care). It would also be nice (and respected) if he is going to reject someone to be courteous and let them know. Otherwise the person (like me) has no way of knowing for sure. I hope my point is coming across the right way. I"m not trying to be a jerk. Again if this were isolated, I would get ya. But it is NOT!

What I do about this, is tell them - "hey if you haven't heard from me in xx time frame, feel free to reach out or if you are back in this city. There are several that contact me every time they are in town. I have zero interest (bad massage) and dont reply. One would think they would take a hint.
-
Thanks .. .I know that was a long list. Now that i'm unemployed I have extra free time Did you see my other post - works the same way from the masseur perspective. I'm sure they have some helpful feedback for clients
-
So I just posted a long response to the "masseur best practices thread: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/masseur-best-practices.137163/page-7 However, it goes both ways. I'm quite certain masseurs here have a similar list of polite requests. Feel free to post them

I am no stranger to getting massages. So I feel I have some good points.I read many (not all of these posts) Some really good points. I know I already posted but wanted to share again. I'm sure many of these are already covered. Sorry if this list is long, but think it helps everyone. - Be on time - Proper music - perhaps ask the client if he has any preferences - Ask client about pressure levels/areas to focus etc. If client gives info on this adhere to it - many times i have asked for specific areas of focus and pressure only to it not happening or barely - Accurate pics and profile; nothing worse than someone being totally not what their pics are (if they are lying about that what else) - Create an accurate profile avoiding CAPS LOCK and bad grammar - When traveling know your market. Sure in NYC for example you may be able to get $180 but in another city you may not - Many ads state perks/amenities (heated table, candles etc). I'm sure these justify their price. However when traveling and you don't have any of those (especially table) then consider that in your pricing - Avoid text only. That just screams bad and not interested. I realize you get alot of calls but for clients (like me) I like to talk to someone up front to find out more, see if it will be a good fit etc. Masseurs that don't allow this I generally avoid. - NO text or calls during massage - NO bio breaks mid way through - Avoid asking for money up front or "reservation" - Be prepared for any sexual questions (I asked one guy if he is nude - he stated me asking that made him uncomfortable - WTF) - Mean what you say and say what you do - When traveling try to book hotels that are convenient for the client NOT you. Here in ATL it is so difficult to get downtown. I either have to take the train or pay large amounts of money to park. Also here in the ATL area staying near the airport is not a good idea. I have talked to many masseurs before their trip and made suggestions and offered to help in picking an area to stay - Avoid back to back appointments. Sure its great that you are busy and making money. But if a client is late or something comes up it isn't fair to the next client - Most pay cash but that often requires a trip to the ATM. Offer Venmo Cash App alternatives as an option (to pay at the end not before) - Don't ask for a tip - thats just tacky - Use proper amounts of lotion. Have had some that use SOO much lotion/oil I felt like I was going to slide off the table - Provide proper ways to "clean up" after (i.e. towel vs. toilet paper) - Avoid a menu of extras. I have had some text me a huge list of options and prices - Avoid uncharging. If you advertise a rate and it says deep tissue don't say well that is extra - Having a clean/tidy place is helpful. Sorry to gross you out with this but I had to use the bathroom before we started. The toilet was disgusting - as if a nuclear diarhea bomb went off - Good communication is essential - Respond to all calls or text. I get it if you are busy, but let the client know you are busy and will get back to them or unavailable etc. - If a client takes the time to write a review (good or bad) respond back thanking them. But dont use the same cookie cutter response for all - If therapeutic only avoid nude or suggestive pics - its just deceiving - Back to rates, if you advertise some fancy amenities (which may justify the higher cost) but those are only available in your studio, then your travel fees should not reflect that I'm sure I could come up with more, but think this is a good list. Again sorry for the long post.
-
good points I have also seen ads with high rates and look at the person in the photo and i;m like really??? LOL
-
Also *IF* I go with a higher priced masseur (rare) then its unlikely im going to tip at all or much. . Thinking is if they are not giving any fee to a spa like place etc, so they are getting enough as it is.
-
not sure how to word this so it doesn't sound too bad but.... There are some ads which im like how the HELL are you charging that much But when guys like us pay it, it enables them I guess
-
Good Post... This along with reviews, style (therapeutic sensual or erotic) help me decide
-
For those rates, clearly it is NOT a massage!! Well time to move on ... LOL
-
tats dont bother me but respect if it does other.. For me it would be paying all that money for a rub n tug
-
https://rentmasseur.com/BrunoRicardo Suspect more sensual and erotic and less therapeutic Nothing in search. Thought I would check with y 'all
