I’ve assumed it’s because they have different prices based on what kind of session they are providing. I contact all providers (both those that post their rate and those that post “ask”) and let them know what I’m interested in and confirm their rate for my request. I hate up-selling during the session and like having a text confirmation of the agreed to price.

I have a few in the rotation but I also like the thrill of the unknown of a new provider. The problem for me is once you’ve seen someone once you pretty much know his routine. Sure maybe the extras go a little farther the second or third time, but generally they keep it the same. The good ones and the ones I repeat with, mix it up. -
I had a table collapse during a session. The masseur was riding me and the table gave out. We finished and then as I was getting dressed he asked if I pay for a new one. Lol

Most of the guys listed in my city are either already on Rent Masseur or their profiles have expired and there is no way to contact them.

For a provider to do incalls he generally will need to live alone. In order to have a place all to yourself in SF you generally have to be doing some other kind of job than masseur. Especially if you want to live in a “nice SF environ”. There are guys in the Bay Area suburbs/San Jose on Rent Masseur.

“Search elsewhere for erotic and sensual” - yet has sensual and erotic listed under types of massage offered and has pics in his underwear and laying naked on the bed. Huge pet peeve when “therapeutic only” guys do this. Also: “Pictures required for first time bookings”. Gurl, bye.

I think a provider would appreciate a text ahead of time: “it’s a really hot day and I’m likely to arrive sweaty. Mind if I use your shower to rinse off?” If for some reason he doesn’t want you to use his shower then assume he’s fine with you not being as fresh as you could be.

I generally don’t look at rates. If there is a provider I’m interested in I usually contact and let him know what kind of session I’m looking for and for how long Id like to book. If he confirms my requirements I then ask what his rate is. I do this mainly so there are no surprises and no upsell during the massage which I find to be a huge mood killer.
