Judging by this thread he gets around without getting a lot of clients on here

He's in Chicago at moment pricing at 200250

Lots of interesting takes on this. Thanks guys. As I said before, it was more the method the deposit was to be paid that raised the red flags, earlier in our discussion he had stated he took a deposit, and I continued the conversation. Perhaps my bad luck with being hacked on cashapp might have played into my assessment, but I think you'd agree that if something doesn't feel right it's not worth the booking.

Sorry if this is in another topic, the searches I did only showed comments from 2016 as the most recent responses. I'd like a little more 'post pandemic' perspective. Recently chatting with a 'provider' and I'm interested. Finally get around to his fees, after a little more back and forth than I prefer, and we agreed to rate I thought reasonable. He asked me to cashapp him half up front. I've had issues with the app before, thought I had been hacked etc. and told him I wouldn't use cash app. His response is to tell me to go buy a specific gift card, and tell him when I've gotten it. To be clear, I don't have any reason to hire this guy at this point now. The final straw for me was the gift card request, my question is if other providers are really doing this now? I get the options of leaving the money out, maybe paying part when they get there etc. Thankfully our correspondence has only been via message, I don't feel like I've been on the phone with a scammer for an hour that has asked this, but it's not far off...

His website advertises NURU massage, specifically says it's an erotic massage, and his ads seem to suggest otherwise? What's the real deal?

Anyone try this guy yet? Looks interesting, lot of reviews on rentmasseur, but ad only says therapeutic. rentmasseur.com/Relax_Time

Anyone check this guy out yet? masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/41775/

Funny, Markus and Alex have on the website bio coming soon, not that it matters since they don't post much in the bio to begin with.

Curious on the semi lol
-
I've always been curious. I know he used to work at Paradise which closed down, but never known anyone who's tried him

You haven't looked closely enough. This fits with a hot massage video to me. It might not be explicit porn like most of these vids, but if you pay attention, you can clearly tell he's enjoying the massage, and try to size him up.

Why bump? I'd have asked Chiguy2021 to elaborate on his opinion. Moves the thread up the same way, and maybe we'd know why he's seen as a bad choice. Or just go see the guy and tell us your thoughts.

Yeah, he's had the green pic shirt for at least 10 years. I remember seeing his ad years ago and he was not charging what I'd call 'therapeutic' prices.

Rentmasseur does show who looked at your profile. I don't remember getting a specific message, but I did find when I first joined how creepy it was that providers I looked at would message me soon after asking if I needed a massage. I believe RM also E-mails the provider if they have a message on the site, not sure if they text too.
-
I wish sites like RentMasseur would put caps on the prices based on where they are advertising. Like if they do put down for $200 for an hour in-call, and the average rate in the area otherwise is $120 that they need to provide more amenities etc. be bumped down, or referred to the sister site of rentmen. Totally agree with the 'Ask Me' has to go.

There have been times I have thought about leaving a bad, legitimate, review for providers when I was still one. I'm probably in the minority but I felt karma would not be kind. There was one time on either massagem4m or masseurfinder where I received an E-mail, after I had had a particularly bad massage with another provider, that I got an E-mail about a new review to approve. At first I thought it was one of my clients reviewing me, but no, it was the bad massage I had the day before had written a review for him on my behalf and used my E-mail. When I questioned it with the site, they banned him and he E-mailed me cussing me out.

I think Andy's a little manic. I've had a massage from him before and it was the most sterile massage I've ever had. Yet when I gave him a massage before that, he wanted a HE, and tried to get me off with a bad HJ. Nice foreskin on average equip. Small chance you'd get to see it firsthand.

Agree on the no baby oil (story in worst massage ever if you want more details lol) Along the lines with travel rates that Beefydude referred to (assuming you meant traveling to other cities) outcalls also need to be priced realistically. Case in point, an acquaintance I've never had a massage with before, but have hooked up with, charges $300 for an outcall. He had hit me up on an app a few months ago and we chat on and off, partnered guy (know the partner too) so more or less just chatting. I used to do massage, but have stopped in last couple years for personal reasons. He talked about doing a massage trade, or that he needed a massage and implied wanting a freebie with a hookup after. Nothing came of it. I recently saw he posted an ad on RentMasseur, and when I brought up his outcall charge he said he charged that price because of the amount of time it takes to travel to the suburbs etc. I get it, I took travel time etc. into consideration with my outcall pricing before. I mentioned I needed a massage, and would prefer an outcall. We live about a mile away from each other, and I told him I had a table to use. His offer was to knock $50 off. Still like $100 more than an in-call. I don't expect the in-call price, but if the client can provide some of the equipment, and is practically walking distance, it seems exorbitant to charge more than ~$50 more than an in-call rate. Now a current, and former outcall massage guys charged no more than $150 a session. One of them only does outcalls and I think it was just a reasonable rate for him. Maybe I'm cheap and/or old thinking this, but I do find it annoying, especially from someone trying to arrange a freebie/trade from me.

Massages that unexpectedly turned into something more
VersOral replied to jrangel's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I can't say I've had a massage that hasn't turned into something I didn't expect. I've always booked based on what I can tell the services are going to be. I typically avoid the spas at hotels and book off the sites. Regarding the discussion about placement of hands: as a former bodyworker, yes, having the palm up is a good signal. I never gave a massage I didn't know where my junk was in relation to the clients hand etc. That was almost always the sign to me that they wanted to go further, if my junk got a little grope, or brush. In terms of moving my hand as a client, I tend to be a squirmer when getting a massage, constantly moving my limbs, hips etc. when they aren't being worked on. -
Was curious about Ricardo too, his reviews seem to show very long sessions

Anyone have a session with this guy? Ad has been up a while, curious if the experience is worthwhile https://rentmasseur.com/JayMichaels

Chatted with him on an app, didn't get a good feel. No phone number on ad as mentioned above gives pause.
